15To oneᾧhōG3739he gaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325fiveπέντεpenteG4002talentsτάλαντα,talantaG5007,to anotherᾧ δὲhō deG3739 G1161,twoδύο,duoG1417,and to anotherᾧ δὲhō deG3739 G1161,oneἕν,henG1520,eachἑκάστῳhekastōG1538accordingκατὰkataG2596to his ownἰδίανidianG2398abilityδύναμιν·dunaminG1411; and hewentG589on his journeyG589.

16ImmediatelyG2112the one who had receivedλαβὼνlabōnG2983the fiveπέντεpenteG4002talentsτάλανταtalantaG5007wentπορευθεὶςporeutheisG4198and tradedἠργάσατοērgasatoG2038with them, and gainedἐκέρδησενekerdēsenG2770fiveπέντεpenteG4002moreἄλλαallaG243talents.

17In the sameG5615mannerG5615the one who had receivedthe twoδύοduoG1417talentsgainedἐκέρδησενekerdēsenG2770twoδύο.duoG1417moreἄλλαallaG243.

18But he who receivedλαβὼνlabōnG2983the oneἓνhenG1520talentwentG565awayἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565,and dugὤρυξενōruxenG3736a holein the groundγῆνgēnG1093and hidἔκρυψενekrupsenG2928hismaster’sκυρίουkuriouG2962moneyἀργύριονargurionG694.

19“NowδὲdeG1161afterG3326a longπολὺνpolunG4183timeχρόνονchrononG5550the masterκύριοςkuriosG2962of thoseἐκείνωνekeinōnG1565slavesδούλωνdoulōnG1401cameἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064andsettledσυναίρειsunaireiG4868accountsλόγονlogonG3056with them.

20The one who had receivedλαβὼνlabōnG2983the fiveπέντεpenteG4002talentsτάλανταtalantaG5007cameπροσελθὼνproselthōnG4334up and broughtπροσήνεγκενprosēnegkenG4374fiveπέντεpenteG4002moreἄλλαallaG243talentsτάλανταtalantaG5007,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, ‘Masterκύριε,kurieG2962,you entrustedπαρέδωκας·paredōkasG3860fiveπέντεpenteG4002talentsτάλαντάtalantaG5007to me. 21His masterκύριοςkuriosG2962saidἔφηephēG5346to him, ‘Wellεὖ,euG2095doneG2095,goodἀγαθὲagatheG18andfaithfulπιστέ,pisteG4103slaveδοῦλεdouleG1401.You were faithfulπιστός,pistosG4103with a fewὀλίγαoligaG3641thingsG3641, I willputG2525you in chargeG2525of manyπολλῶνpollōnG4183thingsG4183;enterεἴσελθεeiseltheG1525into the joyχαρὰνcharanG5479of yourmasterκυρίουkuriouG2962.’

22“AlsoκαὶkaiG2532the oneὁhoG3588whoτὰtaG3588had receivedthe twoδύοduoG1417talentsτάλανταtalantaG5007cameΠροσελθὼνProselthōnG4334up and saidG3004, ‘Masterκύριε,kurieG2962,you entrustedπαρέδωκας·paredōkasG3860twoδύοduoG1417talentsτάλαντάtalantaG5007to me. SeeἴδεideG2396,I have gainedἐκέρδησαekerdēsaG2770twoδύοduoG1417moreἄλλαallaG243talentsτάλανταtalantaG5007.’

23His masterκύριοςkuriosG2962saidἔφηephēG5346to him, ‘Wellεὖ,euG2095doneG2095,goodἀγαθὲagatheG18andfaithfulπιστέ,pisteG4103slaveδοῦλεdouleG1401.You were faithfulπιστός,pistosG4103with a fewὀλίγαoligaG3641thingsG3641,I will putG2525you in chargeG2525of manyπολλῶνpollōnG4183thingsG4183;enterεἴσελθεeiseltheG1525into the joyχαρὰνcharanG5479of your masterκυρίουkuriouG2962.’

24“And the one alsoG2532who had receivedεἰληφὼςeilēphōsG2983the oneἓνhenG1520talentτάλαντονtalantonG5007cameπροσελθὼνproselthōnG4334up and saidG3004, ‘Masterκύριε,kurieG2962,I knewἔγνωνegnōnG1097you to be a hardσκληρὸςsklērosG4642manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444,reapingθερίζωνtherizōnG2325whereὅπουhopouG3699you did not sowἔσπειραςespeirasG4687and gatheringσυνάγωνsunagōnG4863whereὅθενhothenG3606you scatteredδιεσκόρπισας·dieskorpisasG1287noG3756seed.

25And I was afraidφοβηθεὶςphobētheisG5399,and wentG565awayἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565and hidἔκρυψαekrupsaG2928your talentτάλαντόνtalantonG5007in the groundγῇ·gēaG1093.SeeἴδεideG2396,you haveἔχειςecheisG2192whatG3588is yoursG4674.’

26“But his masterκύριοςkuriosG2962answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and saidG3004to him, ‘You wickedπονηρὲponēreG4190,lazyὀκνηρέ,oknēreG3636slaveδοῦλεdouleG1401,you knewG3609that I reapθερίζωtherizōG2325whereὅπουhopouG3699I did not sowἔσπειραespeiraG4687and gatherσυνάγωsunagōG4863whereὅθενhothenG3606I scatteredδιεσκόρπισα;dieskorpisaG1287noG3756seed.

27ThenοὖνounG3767you oughtἔδειedeiG1163to have putβαλεῖνbaleinG906my moneyἀργύριάarguriaG694in the bankτραπεζίταις,trapezitaisG5133,and on my arrivalἐλθὼνelthōnG2064I would have receivedG2865my moneybackG2865with interestτόκῳ.tokōG5110.

28ThereforeοὖνounG3767takeἄρατεarateG142awayG142the talentτάλαντονtalantonG5007from him, and giveδότεdoteG1325it to the one who hasἔχοντιechontiG2192the tenδέκαdekaG1176talentsτάλαντα.talantaG5007.’

29“For to everyoneπαντὶpantiG3956who hasἔχοντιechontiG2192, moreshall be givenδοθήσεταιdothēsetaiG1325,and he will haveG4052an abundanceπερισσευθήσεται·perisseuthēsetaiG4052;but from the one who does not haveἔχοντος,echontosG2192,evenG2532whatὃhoG3739he does haveἔχειecheiG2192shall be takenG142awayἀρθήσεταιarthēsetaiG142.
