Darby Bible
Job 4:1-11
And EliphazH464 the TemaniteH8489 answered and saidH559,
If a wordH1697 were essayed to thee, wouldest thou be grieved? But who can refrain from speaking?
Behold, thou hast instructedH3256 manyH7227, and thou hast strengthenedH2388 the weak handsH3027;
Thy wordsH4405 have upholden him that was stumbling, and thou hast braced up the bending knees:
But nowH6258 it is comeH935 upon thee, and thou grievest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
Hath not thy piety been thy confidence, and the perfection of thy waysH1870 thy hopeH8615?
RememberH2142, I pray thee, who that was innocentH5355 has perishedH6? and whereH375 were the uprightH3477 cut off?
Even as I have seenH7200, they that plough iniquity and sowH2232 mischiefH5999, reapH7114 the same.
By the breathH7307 of 1GodH433 they perishH6, and by the blast of his nostrilsH639 are they consumed.
The roarH7581 of the lionH738, and the voiceH6963 of the fierce lionH738, and the teethH8127 of the youngH3715 lionsH738, are broken;
The old lionH3918 perisheth for lack of preyH2964, and the whelps of the lionessH3833 are scatteredH6504.
