Job 30:24-31
24Indeed, no prayer [availeth] when he stretcheth out [his] handH3027: though they cry when he destroyeth. 25Did not I weepH1058 for him whose daysH3117 were hardH7186? was not my soulH5315 grieved for the needyH34? 26For I expected goodH2896, and there cameH935 evilH7451; and I waitedH3176 for lightH216, but there cameH935 darknessH652. 27My bowelsH4578 well up, and rest not; daysH3117 of affliction have confrontedH6923 me. 28I goH1980 about blackened, but not by the sunH2535; I standH6965 up, I cryH7768 in the congregation. 29I amH1961 becomeH1961 a brotherH251 to jackalsH8577, and a companionH7453 of ostrichesH3284. 30My skinH5785 is become black [and falleth] off me, and my bonesH6106 are parched with heat. 31My harpH3658 also is [turned] to mourningH60, and my pipe into the voiceH6963 of weepers.
