Job 1:1-5
There was a manH376 in the landH776 of UzH5780 whose nameH8034 was JobH347; and this manH376 was perfectH8535 and uprightH3477, and oneH376 that feared 1GodH430 and abstained from evilH7451.
And there were bornH3205 to him sevenH7651 sonsH1121 and threeH7969 daughtersH1323.
And his substance wasH1961 sevenH7651 thousandH505 sheepH6629, and threeH7969 thousandH505 camelsH1581, and fiveH2568 hundredH3967 yoke of oxenH1241, and fiveH2568 hundredH3967 she-asses, and veryH3966 manyH7227 servants; and this manH376 wasH1961 greaterH1419 than all the children of the eastH6924.
And his sonsH1121 wentH1980 and madeH6213 a feastH4960 in the houseH1004 of each oneH376 on his dayH3117; and they sentH7971 and invited their threeH7969 sistersH269 to eatH398 and to drinkH8354 with them.
And it wasH1961 so, when the daysH3117 of the feastingH4960 wereH1961 goneH5927 about, that JobH347 sentH7971 and hallowed them; and he roseH7925 up earlyH7925 in the morningH1242, and offeredH5927 up burnt-offerings [according to] the numberH4557 of them all; for JobH347 saidH559, It may beH1961 that my children have sinnedH2398, and cursed 2GodH430 in their heartsH3824. ThusH3602 did JobH347 continually.
