Ephesians 5:1-13
Be ye thereforeG3767 imitatorsG3402 of 1GodG2316, as belovedG27 childrenG5043,
and walkG4043 in loveG26, evenG2532 as the ChristG5547 lovedG25 us, and deliveredG3860 himself up for us, an offeringG4376 and sacrificeG2378 to 2GodG2316 for a sweet-smelling savour.
But fornication and all uncleanness or unbridled lust, let it not be evenG2532 named among you, as it becomes saintsG40;
and filthiness and foolish talking, or jesting, which are not convenient; but ratherG3123 thanksgivingG2169.
For this ye areG1510 [well] informed of, knowing that no fornicator, or uncleanG169 person, or person of unbridled lust, who isG1510 an idolaterG1496, has inheritanceG2817 in the kingdomG932 of the ChristG5547 and 3GodG2316.
Let no oneG3367 deceive you with vainG2756 wordsG3056, for on accountG3056 of these thingsG3778 the wrathG3709 of 4GodG2316 comesG2064 upon the sonsG5207 of disobedienceG543.
Be not ye thereforeG3767 fellow-partakers with them;
for ye wereG1510 onceG4218 darknessG4655, but nowG1161 lightG5457 in [the] LordG2962; walkG4043 as childrenG5043 of lightG5457,
(for the fruitG2590 of the lightG5457 [is] in all goodnessG19 and righteousnessG1343 and truthG225,)
proving what isG1510 agreeable to the LordG2962;
and do not have fellowship with the unfruitfulG175 worksG2041 of darknessG4655, but ratherG3123 alsoG2532 reprove [them],
for the things that areG1510 done by them in secret it isG1510 shamefulG150 evenG2532 to sayG3004.
But all thingsG3956 having their true character exposed by the lightG5457 areG1510 madeG5319 manifestG5319; for that which makes everythingG3956 manifestG5319 isG1510 lightG5457.
