Timothy 3:8-15
NowG1161 in the sameG3779 mannerG3779 in which Jannes and Jambres withstood MosesG3475, thusG3779 these alsoG2532 withstand the truthG225; menG444 corrupted in mindG3563, found worthless as regards the faithG4102.
But they shall not advance farther; for their folly shall beG1510 completely manifest to all, as that of those alsoG2532 becameG1096.
But thou hast been thoroughly acquainted with my teachingG1319, conduct, purposeG4286, faithG4102, longsuffering, loveG26, enduranceG5281,
persecutionsG1375, sufferings: what [sufferings] happenedG1096 to me in AntiochG490, in IconiumG2430, in LystraG3082; what persecutionsG1375 I endured; and the LordG2962 deliveredG4506 me out of all.
And all indeed who desireG2309 to liveG2198 piously in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 willG2309 be persecutedG1377.
But wickedG4190 menG444 and juggling impostors shall advance in evilG4190, leading and being led astrayG4105.
But thou, abideG3306 in those thingsG3739 which thou hast learnedG3129, and [of which] thou hast been fully persuaded, knowing of whom thou hast learnedG3129 [them];
and that from a child thou hast known the sacredG2413 lettersG1121, which are ableG1410 to make thee wise unto salvationG4991, through faithG4102 which [is] in ChristG5547 JesusG2424.
