Darby Bible
Samuel 19:24-30
And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the kingH4428. Now he had neither washed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the kingH4428 departed until the day he came [again] in peace.
And as soon as Jerusalem cameH935 to meet the kingH4428, the kingH4428 said to him, Why didst thou not goH935 with me, MephiboshethH4648?
And he saidH559, My lord, O kingH4428, my servant deceived me; for thy servant saidH559, I will saddle me the ass, and ride thereon, and goH1980 with the kingH4428; for thy servant is lame.
And he has slandered thy servantH5650 to my lordH113 the kingH4428; but my lordH113 the kingH4428 is as an angel of 1God; do therefore what is good in thy sight.
For all my father's house were but dead men before my lordH113 the kingH4428; and thou didst set thy servantH5650 among them that eat at thine ownH5869 table. What further right therefore have I? and for what should I cry any more to the kingH4428?
And the kingH4428 said to him, WhyH4100 speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land.
And Mephibosheth saidH559 to the kingH4428, Let him even take all, since my lord the kingH4428 is come againH5750 in peace to his own house.
