Samuel 10:7-14
And DavidH1732 heardH8085 [of it], and he sentH7971 JoabH3097, and all the hostH6635, the mightyH1368 menH1368.
And the children of AmmonH5983 cameH3318 out, and put the battleH4421 in array at the entranceH6607 of the gateH8179; and the Syrians of Zoba and of RehobH7340, and the menH376 of TobH2897 and MaacahH4601 were by themselves in the fieldH7704.
And JoabH3097 sawH7200 that the front of the battleH4421 wasH1961 against him before and behind; and he choseH977 out of all the choice menH970 of IsraelH3478, and put them in array against the Syrians;
and the restH3499 of the peopleH5971 he gaveH5414 into the handH3027 of AbishaiH52 his brotherH251 that he might array them against the children of AmmonH5983.
And he saidH559, If the Syrians beH1961 too strongH2388 for me, then thou shalt help me; and if the children of AmmonH5983 beH1961 too strongH2388 for thee, then I will comeH1980 and help thee.
Be strongH2388, and let us shew ourselves valiant for our peopleH5971 and for the citiesH5892 of our 1GodH430; and Jehovah do what is goodH2896 in his sight.
And JoabH3097 drewH5066 near, and the peopleH5971 that were with him, unto the battleH4421 against the Syrians; and they fledH5127 before him.
And when the children of AmmonH5983 sawH7200 that the Syrians fledH5127, they fledH5127 before AbishaiH52, and entered into the cityH5892. And JoabH3097 returnedH7725 from the children of AmmonH5983, and cameH935 to JerusalemH3389.
