2 Corinthians 12:7-9
7And that I might not be exalted by the exceeding greatness of the revelationsG602, there was givenG1325 to me a thorn for the fleshG4561, a messengerG32 of SatanG4567 that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted.
8For this I thrice besought the LordG2962 that it might departG868 from me.
9And he saidG3004 to me, My graceG5485 suffices thee; for [my] powerG1411 is perfected in weaknessG769. Most gladlyG2236 thereforeG3767 will I ratherG3123 boastG2744 in my weaknessesG769, that the powerG1411 of the ChristG5547 may dwell upon me.
