Darby Bible
Chronicles 22:5-9
For DavidH1732 saidH559, SolomonH8010 my sonH1121 is youngH5288 and tenderH7390, and the houseH1004 that is to be builtH1129 for Jehovah must be exceeding greatH1431 in fame and in beautyH8597 in all landsH776: I will therefore makeH1431 preparation for it. And DavidH1732 preparedH3559 abundantly before his deathH4194.
And he calledH7121 for SolomonH8010 his sonH1121, and charged him to buildH1129 a houseH1004 for Jehovah the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478.
And DavidH1732 saidH559 to SolomonH8010, As for me, my sonH1121, I was minded to buildH1129 a houseH1004 unto the nameH8034 of Jehovah my 2GodH430.
But the wordH1697 of Jehovah came to me sayingH559, Thou hast shedH8210 bloodH1818 abundantly, and hast madeH6213 greatH1419 warsH4421: thou shalt not buildH1129 a houseH1004 unto my nameH8034, for thou hast shedH8210 much bloodH1818 upon the earthH776 in my sight.
Behold, a sonH1121 shall beH1961 bornH3205 to thee, who shall beH1961 a manH376 of restH5117; and I will giveH5414 him restH5117 from all his enemiesH341 roundH5439 about; for his nameH8034 shall beH1961 SolomonH8010, and in his daysH3117 I will giveH5414 peaceH7965 and quietness unto IsraelH3478.
