Numbers 15:18-41 18 Speak דַּבֵּר֙ da.Ber H1696 unto the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 , and say וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ ve.'a.mar.Ta H559 unto them , When H834 ye come בְּבֹֽאֲכֶם֙ be.vo.'a.Khem H935 into the land הָאָ֔רֶץ ha.'A.retz H776 whither I bring מֵבִ֥יא me.Vi' H935 you , 19 then it shall be וְהָיָ֕ה ve.ha.Yah H1961 , when ye eat בַּאֲכָלְכֶ֖ם ba.'a.kha.le.Khem H398 of the bread H3899 of the land הָאָ֑רֶץ ha.'A.retz H776 , that ye shall offer תָּרִ֥ימוּ ta.Ri.mu H7311 a heave-offering to Jehovah ; 20 the first רֵאשִׁית֙ re.Shit H7225 of your dough עֲרִסֹ֣תֵכֶ֔ם 'a.ri.So.te.Khem H6182 shall ye offer תָּרִ֣ימוּ ta.Ri.mu H7311 , a cake חַלָּ֖ה cha.Lah H2471 , for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so כֵּ֖ן ken H3651 shall ye offer תָּרִ֥ימוּ ta.Ri.mu H7311 this . 21 Of the first מֵרֵאשִׁית֙ me.re.Shit H7225 of your dough עֲרִסֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם 'a.ri.So.tei.Khem H6182 ye shall give תִּתְּנ֥וּ ti.te.Nu H5414 to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations לְדֹרֹ֖תֵיכֶֽם׃ ס le.do.Ro.tei.Khem H1755 . 22 And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments הַמִּצְוֹ֖ת ha.mitz.Vot H4687 , which Jehovah hath spoken דִּבֶּ֥ר di.Ber H1696 unto Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ mo.Sheh H4872 , 23 all that Jehovah hath commanded H6680 you through Moses מֹשֶׁ֑ה mo.Sheh H4872 , from the day הַיּ֞וֹם hai.Yom H3117 that Jehovah gave commandment , and henceforward throughout your generations לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ le.do.ro.tei.Khem H1755 ; 24 then it shall be וְהָיָ֗ה ve.ha.Yah H1961 , if ought be H1961 committed by inadvertence [hid] from the eyes מֵעֵינֵ֣י me.'ei.Nei H5869 of the assembly H5712 , that the whole assembly H5712 shall offer H6213 one אֶחָ֨ד 'e.Chad H259 young בֶּן־ ben- H1121 bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah , and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance כַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט ka.mish.Pat H4941 , and one אֶחָ֖ד 'e.Chad H259 buck of the goats עִזִּ֥ים 'i.Zim H5795 for a sin-offering. 25 And the priest הַכֹּהֵ֗ן ha.ko.Hen H3548 shall make atonement וְכִפֶּ֣ר ve.khi.Per H3722 for the whole assembly H5712 of the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 , and it shall be forgiven וְנִסְלַ֣ח ve.nis.Lach H5545 them ; for it was a sin וְחַטָּאתָ֛ם ve.cha.ta.Tam H2403 of inadvertence, and they have brought H935 before Jehovah their offering אִשֶּׁ֣ה 'i.Sheh H801 , as an offering H801 by fire H801 to Jehovah , and their sin-offering for their [ sin H2403 of ] inadvertence; 26 and it shall be forgiven וְנִסְלַ֗ח ve.nis.Lach H5545 the whole assembly H5712 of the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 , and the stranger that sojourneth among them ; for with all the people הָעָ֖ם ha.'Am H5971 there was [ a sin of ] inadvertence. 27 And if one אַחַ֖ת 'a.Chat H259 soul H5315 sin תֶּחֱטָ֣א te.che.Ta' H2398 through inadvertence, then he shall present H7126 a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering. 28 And the priest הַכֹּהֵ֗ן ha.ko.Hen H3548 shall make atonement וְכִפֶּ֣ר ve.khi.Per H3722 for the soul H5315 that hath done inadvertently, when he sinneth by inadvertence before Jehovah , to make atonement לְכַפֵּ֥ר le.kha.Per H3722 for him ; and it shall be forgiven וְנִסְלַ֥ח ve.nis.Lach H5545 him . 29 For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 , and for the stranger that sojourneth among them — there shall be H1961 one אַחַת֙ 'a.Chat H259 law תּוֹרָ֤ה to.Rah H8451 for you , for him who doeth anything through inadvertence. 30 But the soul H5315 that doeth ought with a high hand בְּיָ֣ד be.Yad H3027 , whether born in the land , or a stranger , he reproacheth Jehovah ; and that soul H5315 shall be cut וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה ve.nikh.re.Tah H3772 off from among his people עַמָּֽהּ׃ 'a.Mah H5971 . 31 For he hath despised H959 the word דְבַר־ de.var- H1697 of Jehovah , and hath broken H6565 his commandment מִצְוָת֖וֹ mitz.va.To H4687 : that soul H5315 shall surely be cut H3772 off ; his iniquity עֲוֹנָ֥ה 'a.vo.Nah H5771 is upon him . 32 And while the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 were H1961 in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר ba.mid.Bar H4057 they found H4672 a man אִ֛ישׁ 'ish H376 gathering מְקֹשֵׁ֥שׁ me.ko.Shesh H7197 sticks on the sabbath הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃ ha.sha.Bat H7676 day בְּי֥וֹם be.Yom H3117 . 33 And they that found H4672 him gathering מְקֹשֵׁ֣שׁ me.ko.Shesh H7197 sticks brought H7126 him to Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ mo.Sheh H4872 and Aaron אַהֲרֹ֔ן 'a.ha.Ron H175 , and to the whole assembly H5712 . 34 And they put him in custody בַּמִּשְׁמָ֑ר ba.mish.Mar H4929 , for it was not declared what should be done to him . 35 And Jehovah said H559 to Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה mo.Sheh H4872 , The man הָאִ֑ישׁ ha.'Ish H376 shall certainly מ֥וֹת Mot H4191 be put יוּמַ֖ת yu.Mat H4191 to death H4191 : the whole assembly H5712 shall stone H68 him with stones H68 outside the camp לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ La.ma.cha.Neh H4264 . 36 And the whole assembly H5712 led him outside the camp לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה la.ma.cha.Neh H4264 , and stoned H7275 him with stones H68 , and he died H4191 , as Jehovah had commanded צִוָּ֥ה tzi.Vah H6680 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פ mo.Sheh H4872 . 37 And Jehovah spoke to Moses מֹשֶׁ֥ה mo.Sheh H4872 , saying H559 , 38 Speak דַּבֵּ֞ר da.Ber H1696 unto the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Yis.ra.'El H3478 , and bid them that they make H5414 them tassels צִיצִ֛ת tzi.Tzit H6734 on the corners H3671 of their garments H899 , throughout their generations לְדֹרֹתָ֑ם le.do.ro.Tam H1755 , and that they attach to the tassel צִיצִ֥ת tzi.Tzit H6734 of the corners H3671 a lace of blue H8504 ; 39 and it shall be H1961 unto you for a tassel לְצִיצִת֒ le.tzi.Tzit H6734 , that ye may look H7200 upon it , and remember וּזְכַרְתֶּם֙ u.ze.khar.Tem H2142 all the commandments מִצְוֹ֣ת mitz.Vot H4687 of Jehovah , and do them ;
