Exodus 39:2-26 2 And he made H6213 the ephod הָאֵפֹ֑ד ha.'e.Fod H646 of gold זָהָ֗ב za.Hav H2091 , blue H8504 , and purple וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן ve.'ar.ga.Man H713 , and scarlet שָׁנִ֖י sha.Ni H8144 , and twined byssus. 3 And they beat the gold הַזָּהָב֮ ha.za.Hav H2091 into thin plates , and cut וְקִצֵּ֣ץ ve.ki.Tzetz H7112 it [ into ] wires, to work מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה ma.'a.Seh H4639 it artistically into the blue H8504 , and into the purple הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֔ן ha.'ar.ga.Man H713 , and into the scarlet הַשָּׁנִ֖י ha.sha.Ni H8144 , and into the byssus. 4 They made H6213 shoulder-pieces for it , joining it : at its two שְׁנֵ֥י she.Nei H8147 ends H7117 was it joined H2266 together . 5 And the girdle of his ephod, which was on it , was of the same , according to its work H4639 , of gold זָהָ֗ב za.Hav H2091 , blue H8504 , and purple וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן ve.'ar.ga.Man H713 , and scarlet שָׁנִ֖י sha.Ni H8144 , and twined byssus; as Jehovah had commanded צִוָּ֥ה tzi.Vah H6680 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פ mo.Sheh H4872 . 8 And he made H6213 the breastplate of artistic work מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה ma.'a.Seh H4639 , like the work כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה ke.ma.'a.Seh H4639 of the ephod אֵפֹ֑ד 'e.Fod H646 , of gold זָהָ֗ב za.Hav H2091 , blue H8504 , and purple וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן ve.'ar.ga.Man H713 , and scarlet שָׁנִ֖י sha.Ni H8144 , and twined byssus. 9 It was H1961 square רָב֧וּעַ ra.Vu.a' H7251 ; double כָּפ֖וּל ka.Ful H3717 did they make H6213 the breastplate, a span זֶ֧רֶת Ze.ret H2239 the length אָרְכּ֛וֹ 'a.re.Ko H753 thereof, and a span וְזֶ֥רֶת ve.Ze.ret H2239 the breadth רָחְבּ֖וֹ ra.che.Bo H7341 thereof, doubled כָּפֽוּל׃ ka.Ful H3717 . 10 And they set in it four אַרְבָּעָ֖ה 'ar.ba.'Ah H702 rows ט֣וּרֵי Tu.rei H2905 of stones אָ֑בֶן 'A.ven H68 : [ one הָאֶחָֽד׃ ha.'e.Chad H259 ] row ט֗וּר Tur H2905 , a sardoin, a topaz פִּטְדָה֙ pit.Dah H6357 , and an emerald — the first row הַטּ֖וּר ha.Tur H2905 ; 11 and the second הַשֵּׁנִ֑י ha.she.Ni H8145 row וְהַטּ֖וּר ve.ha.Tur H2905 , a carbuncle, a sapphire סַפִּ֖יר sa.Pir H5601 , and a diamond ; 12 and the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י ha.she.li.Shi H7992 row וְהַטּ֖וּר ve.ha.Tur H2905 , an opal, an agate שְׁב֖וֹ she.Vo H7618 , and an amethyst וְאַחְלָֽמָה׃ ve.'ach.La.mah H306 ; 13 and the fourth הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י ha.re.vi.'I H7243 row וְהַטּוּר֙ ve.ha.Tur H2905 , a chrysolite, an onyx שֹׁ֖הַם Sho.ham H7718 , and a jasper וְיָשְׁפֵ֑ה ve.ya.she.Peh H3471 ; mounted in enclosures of gold זָהָ֖ב za.Hav H2091 in their settings . 14 And the stones H68 were according to the names H8034 of the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל Yis.ra.'El H3478 , twelve , according to their names H8034 , engraved as a seal חֹתָם֙ cho.Tam H2368 , every one אִ֣ישׁ 'ish H376 according to his name H8034 , for the twelve tribes שָֽׁבֶט׃ Sha.vet H7626 . 15 And they made H6213 on the breastplate chains שַׁרְשְׁרֹ֥ת shar.she.Rot H8333 of laced work מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה ma.'a.Seh H4639 of wreathen work H4639 , of pure טָהֽוֹר׃ ta.Hor H2889 gold זָהָ֖ב za.Hav H2091 . 16 And they made H6213 two שְׁתֵּי֙ she.Tei H8147 settings of gold זָהָ֔ב za.Hav H2091 , and two וּשְׁתֵּ֖י u.she.Tei H8147 gold זָהָ֑ב za.Hav H2091 rings טַבְּעֹ֣ת ta.be.'Ot H2885 , and put וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ vai.yi.te.Nu H5414 the two שְׁתֵּי֙ she.Tei H8147 rings הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת ha.ta.ba.'Ot H2885 on the two שְׁנֵ֖י she.Nei H8147 ends קְצ֥וֹת ke.Tzot H7098 of the breastplate. 17 And they put וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ vai.yi.te.Nu H5414 the two שְׁתֵּי֙ she.Tei H8147 wreathen [ cords הָעֲבֹתֹ֣ת ha.'a.vo.Tot H5688 ] of gold הַזָּהָ֔ב ha.za.Hav H2091 in the two שְׁתֵּ֖י she.Tei H8147 rings הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת ha.ta.ba.'Ot H2885 on the ends קְצ֖וֹת ke.Tzot H7098 of the breastplate; 18 and the two שְׁתֵּ֤י she.Tei H8147 ends קְצוֹת֙ ke.tzOt H7098 of the two שְׁתֵּ֣י she.Tei H8147 wreathen [ cords הָֽעֲבֹתֹ֔ת ha.'a.vo.Tot H5688 ] they fastened to the two שְׁתֵּ֣י she.Tei H8147 settings , and put H5414 them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod הָאֵפֹ֖ד ha.'e.Fod H646 , on the front thereof. 19 And they made H6213 two שְׁתֵּי֙ she.Tei H8147 rings טַבְּעֹ֣ת ta.be.'Ot H2885 of gold זָהָ֔ב za.Hav H2091 , and put וַיָּשִׂ֕ימוּ vai.ya.Si.mu H7760 [ them ] on the two שְׁנֵ֖י she.Nei H8147 ends קְצ֣וֹת ke.Tzot H7098 of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod הָאֵפֹ֖ד ha.'e.Fod H646 inwards . 20 And they made H6213 two שְׁתֵּ֣י she.Tei H8147 rings טַבְּעֹ֣ת ta.be.'Ot H2885 of gold זָהָב֒ za.Hav H2091 , and put וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֡ם vai.yi.te.Num H5414 them upon the two שְׁתֵּי֩ she.Tei H8147 shoulder-pieces of the ephod הָאֵפֹ֤ד ha.'e.Fod H646 underneath , to the front thereof, just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod הָאֵפֹֽד׃ ha.'e.Fod H646 . 21 And they bound the breastplate with its rings מִטַּבְּעֹתָיו֩ mi.ta.be.'o.Tav H2885 to the rings טַבְּעֹ֨ת ta.be.'Ot H2885 of the ephod הָאֵפֹ֜ד ha.'e.Fod H646 with lace of blue H8504 , that it might be לִֽהְיֹת֙ lih.Yot H1961 above the girdle of the ephod הָאֵפֹ֔ד ha.'e.Fod H646 , and that the breastplate might not be H1961 loosed from the ephod הָאֵפֹ֑ד ha.'e.Fod H646 ; as Jehovah had commanded צִוָּ֥ה tzi.Vah H6680 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ mo.Sheh H4872 . 22 And he made H6213 the cloak of the ephod הָאֵפֹ֖ד ha.'e.Fod H646 of woven work מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה ma.'a.Seh H4639 , all of blue H8504 ; 23 and the opening וּפִֽי־ u.fi- H6310 of the cloak in its middle בְּתוֹכ֖וֹ be.to.Kho H8432 , as the opening כְּפִ֣י ke.Fi H6310 of a coat of mail ; a binding was round H5439 about the opening לְפִ֛יו le.Fiv H6310 , that it should not rend . 24 And they made H6213 on the skirts שׁוּלֵ֣י shu.Lei H7757 of the cloak pomegranates H7416 of blue H8504 and purple וְאַרְגָּמָ֖ן ve.'ar.ga.Man H713 and scarlet שָׁנִ֑י sha.Ni H8144 , twined . 25 And they made H6213 bells פַעֲמֹנֵ֖י fa.'a.mo.Nei H6472 of pure טָה֑וֹר ta.Hor H2889 gold זָהָ֣ב za.Hav H2091 , and put וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ vai.yi.te.Nu H5414 the bells הַפַּֽעֲמֹנִ֜ים ha.pa.'a.mo.Nim H6472 between the pomegranates H7416 , in the skirts שׁוּלֵ֤י shu.Lei H7757 of the cloak, round H5439 about , between the pomegranates H7416 : 26 a bell פַּעֲמֹ֤ן pa.'a.Mon H6472 and a pomegranate וְרִמֹּן֙ ve.ri.Mon H7416 , a bell פַּעֲמֹ֣ן pa.'a.Mon H6472 and a pomegranate וְרִמֹּ֔ן ve.ri.Mon H7416 , in the skirts שׁוּלֵ֥י shu.Lei H7757 of the cloak round H5439 about , for service ;
