I have heard themH8085 crying outH6818 because ofH6440 their oppressorsH5065, andH3588 I am awareH3045 of their sufferingsH4341. 8I have come downH3381 to rescue themH5337 fromH4480 the handH3027 of the EgyptiansH4714 and to bring them upH5927 out of thatH1931 landH776 toH413 a goodH2896 and spaciousH7342H413 landH776, a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706H413—the homeH4725 of the CanaanitesH3669, HittitesH2850, AmoritesH567, PerizzitesH6522, HivitesH2340, and JebusitesH2983.

9And nowH6258H2009 the cryH6818 of the IsraelitesH1121H3478 has reachedH935 MeH413, and I haveH1571 seenH7200 how severelyH3906 the EgyptiansH4713 are oppressing themH3905. 10ThereforeH6258, goH1980! I am sendingH7971 you toH413 PharaohH6547 to bringH3318 My peopleH5971 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 out of EgyptH4714.”6

11But MosesH4872 askedH559 GodH430, “WhoH4310 am IH595, thatH3588 I should goH1980 toH413 PharaohH6547 andH3588 bringH3318 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 out of EgyptH4714?”

12“I will surelyH3588 beH1961 with youH5973,” God saidH559, “and thisH2088 will be the signH226 to you thatH3588 IH595 have sent youH7971: When you have brought the peopleH5971 outH3318 of EgyptH4714, all of you will worshipH5647 GodH430 onH5921 thisH2088 mountainH2022.”7

13Then MosesH4872 askedH559 GodH430, “SupposeH2009 IH595 goH935 toH413 the IsraelitesH1121H3478 and sayH559 to them, ‘The GodH430 of your fathersH1 has sent meH7971 to youH413,’ and they askH559 me, ‘WhatH4100 is His nameH8034?’ WhatH4100 should I tellH559 themH413?”

14GodH430 saidH559 toH413 MosesH4872, “I AMH1961 WHOH834 I AMH1961.8 This is whatH3541H559 you are to sayH559 to the IsraelitesH1121H3478: ‘I AMH1961 has sent meH7971 to youH413.’”

16GoH1980, assembleH622 the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478 and sayH559 to themH413, ‘The LORDH3068, the GodH430 of your fathersH1—the GodH430 of AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and JacobH3290—has appearedH7200 to meH413 and saidH559: I have surely attended toH6485 youH853 andH853 have seen what has been doneH6213 to you in EgyptH4714. 17And I have promisedH559 to bring you upH5927 out of your afflictionH6040 in EgyptH4714, intoH413 the landH776 of the CanaanitesH3669, HittitesH2850, AmoritesH567, PerizzitesH6522, HivitesH2340, and JebusitesH2983H413—a landH776 flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706.’

18The elders of Israel will listenH8085 to what you sayH6963, and youH859 must goH935 withH2205H3478 them toH413 the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 and tellH559 himH413, ‘The LORDH3068, the GodH430 of the HebrewsH5680, has metH7136 with usH5921. 19But IH589 knowH3045 thatH3588 the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 will notH3808 allowH5414 you to goH1980 unlessH3808 a mighty hand compels himH2389H3027.9 20So I will stretch outH7971 My handH3027 and strikeH5221 the EgyptiansH4713 with allH3605 the wondersH6381 I will performH6213 among themH7130. And afterH310 thatH3651, he will releaseH7971 youH853.

21And I will grantH5414 thisH2088 peopleH5971 such favorH2580 in the sightH5869 of the EgyptiansH4713H1961 that whenH3588 you leaveH1980, you will notH3808 go awayH1980 empty-handedH7387. 22EveryH802 woman shall askH7592 her neighborH7934 and any woman stayingH1481 in her houseH1004 for silverH3701H3627 and goldH2091 jewelryH3627 and clothingH8071, and you will put themH7760 onH5921 your sonsH1121H5921 and daughtersH1323. So you will plunderH5337 the EgyptiansH4713.”
