8Set upH7760 the surroundingH5439 courtyardH2691 and hangH5414 the curtainH4539 for the entranceH8179 to the courtyardH2691.

9TakeH3947 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 and anointH4886 the tabernacleH4908 and everythingH3605 in it; consecrateH6942 itH853 along withH853 allH3605 its furnishingsH3627, and it shall beH1961 holyH6944. 10AnointH4886 the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930 and allH3605 its utensilsH3627; consecrateH6942 the altarH4196, and it shall beH1961H4196 mostH6944 holyH6944. 11AnointH4886 the basinH3595 and its standH3653 and consecrate themH6942.

12Then bringH7126 AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 toH413 the entranceH6607 to the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 and washH7364 themH853 with waterH4325. 13And you are to clotheH3847 AaronH175 with the holyH6944 garmentsH899, anoint himH4886, and consecrate himH6942, so that he may serve Me as a priestH3547. 14Bring his sonsH1121 forwardH7126 and clotheH3847 themH853 with tunicsH3801. 15AnointH4886 themH853 just asH834 you anointedH4886 their fatherH1, so that they may also serve Me as priestsH3547. Their anointingH4888 will qualifyH1961 them for a permanentH5769 priesthoodH3550 throughout their generationsH1755.”

20Moses tookH3947 the TestimonyH5715 and placedH5414 it inH413 the arkH727, attachingH7760 the polesH905 toH5921 the arkH727; and he setH5414 the mercy seatH3727 atopH5921H4605 the arkH727. 21Then he broughtH935 the arkH727 intoH413 the tabernacleH4908, put upH7760 the veilH6532 for the screenH4539, and shieldedH5526 offH5921 the arkH727 of the TestimonyH5715, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872.

22Moses placedH5414 the tableH7979 in the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 onH5921 the northH6828 sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908, outsideH2351 the veilH6532. 23He arrangedH6186 the breadH3899 on itH5921H6187 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872.

24He also placedH7760 the lampstandH4501 in the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 oppositeH5227 the tableH7979 onH5921 the southH5045 sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908 25and set upH5927 the lampsH5216 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872.

26Moses placedH7760 the goldH2091 altarH4196 in the TentH168 of MeetingH4150, in frontH6440 of the veilH6532, 27and he burnedH6999 fragrantH5561 incenseH7004 on itH5921, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872. 28Then he put upH7760 the curtainH4539 at the entranceH6607 to the tabernacleH4908. 29He placedH7760 the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930 near the entranceH6607 to the tabernacleH4908, the TentH168 of MeetingH4150, and offeredH5927 on itH5921 the burnt offeringH5930 and the grain offeringH4503, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 himH4872.

30He placedH7760 the basinH3595 betweenH996 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150H996 and the altarH4196 and putH5414 waterH4325 in itH8033 for washingH7364; 31and from itH4480 MosesH4872, AaronH175, and his sonsH1121 washedH7364 their handsH3027 and feetH7272. 32They washedH7364 whenever they enteredH935H413 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 or approachedH7126H413 the altarH4196, just asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872.

33And Moses set upH6965 the courtyardH2691 aroundH5439 the tabernacleH4908 and the altarH4196, and he hungH5414 the curtainH4539 for the entranceH8179 to the courtyardH2691. So MosesH4872 finishedH3615 the workH4399.

The Cloud and the Glory

(Numbers 9:15–23)

34Then the cloudH6051 coveredH3680 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150, and the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 filledH4390 the tabernacleH4908. 35MosesH4872 was unableH3808H3201 to enterH935H413 the TentH168 of MeetingH4150 becauseH3588 the cloudH6051 had settledH7931 on itH5921, and the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 filledH4390 the tabernacleH4908.

36Whenever the cloudH6051 was liftedH5927 fromH5921 above the tabernacleH4908, the IsraelitesH1121H3478 would set outH5265 through allH3605 the stages of their journeyH4550. 37IfH518 the cloudH6051 was notH3808 liftedH5927, they would notH3808 set outH5265 untilH5704 the dayH3117 it was taken upH5927. 38ForH3588 the cloudH6051 of the LORDH3068 was overH5921 the tabernacleH4908 by dayH3119, and fireH784 wasH1961 in the cloud by nightH3915, in the sightH5869 of allH3605 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 through allH3605 their journeysH4550.
