1The handיַד־yad-H3027of the LORDיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068wasהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961upon meעָלַי֮'a.LaiH5921,and He brought me outוַיּוֹצִאֵ֤נִיvai.yo.tzi.'E.niH3318by Hisיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068Spiritבְר֙וּחַ֙ve.Ru.achH7307and set me downוַיְנִיחֵ֖נִיvay.ni.Che.niH5117in the middleבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the valleyהַבִּקְעָ֑הha.bik.'AhH1237,and itוְהִ֖יאve.Hi'H1931wasfull ofמְלֵאָ֥הme.le.'AhH4392bonesעֲצָמֽוֹת׃a.tza.MotH6106.
2He led meוְהֶעֱבִירַ֥נִיve.he.'e.vi.Ra.niH5674allסָבִ֣יב׀sa.VivH5439aroundסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439among themעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH5921,and I sawוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009a greatמְאֹד֙me.'OdH3966manyרַבּ֤וֹתra.BotH7227bonesonעַל־'al-H5921the floorפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the valleyהַבִּקְעָ֔הha.bik.'AhH1237,and indeedוְהִנֵּ֖הve.hi.NehH2009,they were veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966dryיְבֵשׁ֥וֹתye.ve.ShotH3002.
3Then He askedוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413, “Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,can theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428bonesהָעֲצָמ֣וֹתha.'a.tza.MotH6106come to lifeהֲתִחְיֶ֖ינָהha.tich.Yei.nahH2421?” “O Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֖הYah.wehH3069,”I repliedוָאֹמַ֕רva.'o.MarH559, “only Youאַתָּ֥ה'a.TahH859knowיָדָֽעְתָּ׃ya.Da.'e.taH3045.”
4And He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413, “Prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012concerningעַל־'al-H5921theseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428bonesהָעֲצָמ֣וֹתha.'a.tza.MotH6106and tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559themאֲלֵיהֶ֔ם'a.lei.HemH413, ‘Dryהַיְבֵשׁ֔וֹתhay.ve.ShotH3002bonesהָעֲצָמוֹת֙ha.'a.tza.mOtH6106,hearשִׁמְע֖וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068!
5This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559to theseהָאֵ֑לֶּה הִנֵּ֨הha.'E.leh hi.NehH428H2009bonesלָעֲצָמ֖וֹתla.'a.tza.MotH6106:Iאֲנִ֜י'a.NiH589will cause breathר֖וּחַRu.achH7307to enterמֵבִ֥יאme.Vi'H935you,and you will come to lifeוִחְיִיתֶֽם׃vich.yi.TemH2421.
6I will attachוְנָתַתִּי֩ve.na.ta.TiH5414tendonsגִּדִ֜יםgi.DimH1517to youעֲלֵיכֶ֨ם'a.lei.KhemH5921and make fleshבָּשָׂ֗רba.SarH1320growוְֽהַעֲלֵתִ֧יve.ha.'al.TiH5927upon youעֲלֵיכֶ֣ם'a.lei.KhemH5921and coverוְקָרַמְתִּ֤יve.ka.ram.TiH7159youעֲלֵיכֶם֙'a.lei.KhemH5921with skinע֔וֹרorH5785.I will putוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414breathר֖וּחַRu.achH7307within youso that you will come to lifeוִחְיִיתֶ֑םvich.yi.TemH2421.Then you will knowוִידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.’”
7So I prophesiedוְנִבֵּ֖אתִיve.ni.Be.tiH5012asכַּאֲשֶׁ֣רka.'a.SherH834I had been commandedצֻוֵּ֑יתִיtzu.Vei.tiH6680.And as I prophesiedכְּהִנָּֽבְאִי֙ke.hi.na.ve.'IH5012,there wasוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961suddenlyוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009a noiseק֤וֹלKolH6963,a rattlingרַ֔עַשׁRa.'ashH7494,and the bonesעֲצָמ֔וֹתa.tza.MotH6106came togetherוַתִּקְרְב֣וּva.tik.re.VuH7126,boneעֶ֖צֶם'E.tzemH6106toאֶל־'el-H413boneעַצְמֽוֹ׃atz.MoH6106.
8As I looked onוְרָאִ֜יתִיve.ra.'I.tiH7200,tendonsגִּדִים֙gi.DimH1517appearedוְהִנֵּֽה־ve.hi.neh-H2009on themעֲלֵיהֶ֤ם'a.lei.HemH5921,fleshוּבָשָׂ֣רu.va.SarH1320grewעָלָ֔ה'a.LahH5927,and skinע֖וֹר מִלְמָ֑עְלָהor mil.Ma.'e.lahH5785H4605covered themוַיִּקְרַ֧ם עֲלֵיהֶ֛םvai.yik.Ram 'a.lei.HemH7159H5921;but there was noאֵ֥ין'einH369breathוְר֖וּחַve.Ru.achH7307in them.
9Then He saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413, “Prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012toאֶל־'el-H413the breathהָר֑וּחַha.Ru.achH7307;prophesyהִנָּבֵ֣אhi.na.Ve'H5012,sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָ֠דָם'A.domH120,and tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֶל־ve.'a.mar.Ta 'el-H559H413the breathהָר֜וּחַha.Ru.achH7307that this is whatכֹּֽה־koh-H3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֗הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַ֣ר׀'a.MarH559:Comeבֹּ֣אִיBo.'iH935from the fourמֵאַרְבַּ֤עme.'ar.Ba'H702windsרוּחוֹת֙ru.chOtH7307,O breathהָר֔וּחַha.Ru.achH7307,and breatheוּפְחִ֛יu.fe.ChiH5301into theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428slainבַּהֲרוּגִ֥יםba.ha.ru.GimH2026,so that they may liveוְיִֽחְיֽוּ׃ve.Yich.YuH2421!”
10So I prophesiedוְהִנַּבֵּ֖אתִיve.hi.na.Be.tiH5012asכַּאֲשֶׁ֣רka.'a.SherH834He had commanded meצִוָּ֑נִיtzi.Va.niH6680,and the breathהָר֜וּחַha.Ru.achH7307enteredוַתָּבוֹא֩va.ta.Vo'H935them,and they came to lifeוַיִּֽחְי֗וּvai.yich.YuH2421and stoodוַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙vai.ya.'am.DuH5975onעַל־'al-H5921their feetרַגְלֵיהֶ֔םrag.lei.HemH7272—a vastגָּד֥וֹלga.DolH1419H3966armyחַ֖יִלCha.yilH2428.
