3and tellלְאַדְמַ֣תle.'ad.MatH559H127herיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478that this is whatH3541the LORDH3068H2005saysH559: ‘I am against youאֵלַ֔יִךְ'e.La.yikhH413,and I will drawוְהוֹצֵאתִ֥יve.ho.tze.TiH3318My swordחַרְבִּ֖יchar.BiH2719from its sheathמִתַּעְרָ֑הּmi.ta'.RahH8593and cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from youמִמֵּ֖ךְmi.MekhH4480both the righteousצַדִּ֥יקtza.DikH6662and the wickedוְרָשָֽׁע׃ve.ra.Sha'H7563.
4Becauseיַ֛עַןYa.'anH3282אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I will cut offהִכְרַ֥תִּיhikh.Ra.tiH3772מִמֵּ֖ךְmi.MekhH4480both the righteousצַדִּ֣יקtza.DikH6662and the wickedוְרָשָׁ֑עve.ra.Sha'H7563,My swordחַרְבִּ֧יchar.BiH2719לָ֠כֵןLa.khenH3651will beתֵּצֵ֨אte.Tze'H3318unsheathedמִתַּעְרָ֛הּmi.ta'.RahH8593againstאֶל־'el-H413everyoneH3605H1320from southמִנֶּ֥גֶבmi.Ne.gevH5045to northצָפֽוֹן׃tza.FonH6828.
5Then allכָּל־kol-H3605fleshבָּשָׂ֔רba.SarH1320will knowוְיָֽדְעוּ֙ve.ya.de.'UH3045thatכִּ֚יkiH3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,have takenהוֹצֵ֥אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318My swordחַרְבִּ֖יchar.BiH2719from its sheathמִתַּעְרָ֑הּmi.ta'.RahH8593,notH3808to return itתָשׁ֖וּבta.ShuvH7725againעֽוֹד׃ סodH5750.’
6But youוְאַתָּ֥הve.'a.TahH859,sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120,groanהֵֽאָנַ֑חhe.'a.NachH584!Groanתֵּֽאָנַ֖חte.'a.NachH584before their eyesלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.HemH5869with a brokenבְּשִׁבְר֤וֹןbe.shiv.RonH7670heartמָתְנַ֙יִם֙ma.te.Na.yimH4975and bitter griefוּבִמְרִיר֔וּתu.vim.ri.RutH4814.
7Andוְהָיָה֙ve.ha.YahH1961whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588they askיֹאמְר֣וּyo.me.RuH559H413, ‘Whyעַל־ מָ֖ה'al- mahH5921H4100are youאַתָּ֣ה'a.TahH859groaningנֶאֱנָ֑חne.'e.NachH584?’you are to sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֡ve.'a.mar.TaH559, ‘Because ofH413the newsשְׁמוּעָ֣הshe.mu.'AhH8052thatכִֽי־khi-H3588is comingבָאָ֡הva.'AhH935.Everyכָּל־kol-H3605heartלֵב֩levH3820will meltוְנָמֵ֣סve.na.MesH4549,and everyכָל־khol-H3605handיָדַ֜יִםya.Da.yimH3027will go limpוְרָפ֨וּve.ra.FuH7503.Everyכָל־khol-H3605spiritר֗וּחַRu.achH7307will faintוְכִהֲתָ֣הve.khi.ha.TahH3543,and everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605kneeבִּרְכַּ֙יִם֙bir.Ka.yimH1290will turn toתֵּלַ֣כְנָהte.Lakh.nahH1980waterמַּ֔יִםMa.yimH4325.’Yesהִנֵּ֤הhi.NehH2009,it is comingבָאָה֙va.'AhH935and it will surely happenוְנִֽהְיָ֔תָהve.nih.Ya.tahH1961,declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.”
