3the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְ֠הוָהYah.wehH3068came directlyH1961toאֶל־'el-H413Ezekielיְחֶזְקֵ֨אלye.chez.KelH3168the priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Buziבּוּזִ֧יbu.ZiH941,in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of the Chaldeansכַּשְׂדִּ֖יםkas.DimH3778byעַל־'al-H5921the Riverנְהַר־ne.har-H5104Kebarכְּבָ֑רke.VarH3529.And thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033the LORD’sיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068handיַד־yad-H3027wasH1961upon himעָלָ֛יו'a.LavH5921.

4I lookedוָאֵ֡רֶאva.'E.re'H7200and sawוְהִנֵּה֩ve.hi.NehH2009a whirlwindר֨וּחַ סְעָרָ֜הRu.ach se.'a.RahH7307 H5591comingבָּאָ֣הba.'AhH935fromמִן־min-H4480the northהַצָּפ֗וֹןha.tza.FonH6828,a greatגָּדוֹל֙ga.dOlH1419cloudעָנָ֤ן'a.NanH6051with fireוְאֵ֣שׁve.'EshH784flashing back and forthמִתְלַקַּ֔חַתmit.la.Ka.chatH3947and brilliant lightוְנֹ֥גַֽהּve.No.gahH5051all aroundסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439it.In the centerוּמִ֨תּוֹכָ֔הּu.Mi.to.KhahH8432of the fireהָאֵֽשׁ׃ha.'EshH784was a gleamכְּעֵ֥יןke.'EinH5869like amberהַחַשְׁמַ֖ל מִתּ֥וֹךְha.chash.Mal mi.TokhH2830 H8432,

5and within itוּמִ֨תּוֹכָ֔הּu.Mi.to.KhahH8432wasthe formדְּמ֖וּתde.MutH1823of fourאַרְבַּ֣ע'ar.Ba'H702living creaturesחַיּ֑וֹתchai.YotH2416.And thisוְזֶה֙ve.ZehH2088wastheir appearanceמַרְאֵֽיהֶ֔ןmar.'ei.HenH4758: They hada humanאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120formדְּמ֥וּתde.MutH1823,

6but eachלְאֶחָ֑תle.'e.ChatH259had fourוְאַרְבָּעָ֥הve.'ar.ba.'AhH702facesפָנִ֖יםfa.NimH6440and fourוְאַרְבַּ֥עve.'ar.Ba'H702wingsכְּנָפַ֖יִם לְאַחַ֥תke.na.Fa.yim le.'a.ChatH3671 H259.

7Their legsH7272were straightיְשָׁרָ֑הye.sha.RahH3477,and the solesוְכַ֣ףve.KhafH3709of their feetH7272were like the hoovesכְּכַף֙ke.KhafH3709 H7272of a calfעֵ֔גֶל'E.gelH5695,gleamingוְנֹ֣צְצִ֔יםve.No.tze.TzimH5340likeכְּעֵ֖יןke.'EinH5869polishedקָלָֽל׃ka.LalH7044bronzeנְחֹ֥שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178.

10The formוּדְמ֣וּתu.de.MutH1823of their facesפְּנֵיהֶם֮pe.nei.HemH6440was thatפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of a manאָדָם֒'a.DamH120,and each of the fourלְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֔םle.'ar.ba'.TamH702had the faceוּפְנֵ֨יu.fe.NeiH6440of a lionאַרְיֵ֤ה'ar.YehH738onאֶל־'el-H413the right sideהַיָּמִין֙hai.ya.MinH3225,the faceוּפְנֵי־u.fe.nei-H6440of an oxשׁ֥וֹרShorH7794on the left sideמֵֽהַשְּׂמֹ֖אולme.ha.se.MolH8040,and alsoלְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֑ןle.'ar.ba'.TanH702the faceוּפְנֵי־u.fe.nei-H6440of an eagleנֶ֖שֶׁר לְאַרְבַּעְתָּֽן׃Ne.sher le.'ar.ba'.TanH5404 H702.

11Such were their facesוּפְנֵיהֶ֕םu.fe.nei.HemH6440.Their wingsוְכַנְפֵיהֶ֥םve.khan.fei.HemH3671were spreadפְּרֻד֖וֹתpe.ru.DotH6504upwardמִלְמָ֑עְלָהmil.Ma.'e.lahH4605;eachלְאִ֗ישׁle.'IshH376hadtwoשְׁ֚תַּיִםShe.ta.yimH8147wingstouchingחֹבְר֣וֹתchoe.RotH2266the wings of the creature on either sideאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376,and twoוּשְׁתַּ֣יִםu.she.Ta.yimH8147wings coveringמְכַסּ֔וֹתme.kha.SotH3680itsאֵ֖ת'etH853bodyגְּוִיֹתֵיהֶֽנָה׃ge.vi.yo.tei.He.nahH1472.

13In the midstוּדְמ֨וּתu.de.MutH1823of the living creaturesהַחַיּ֜וֹתha.chai.YotH2416was the appearanceמַרְאֵיהֶ֣םmar.'ei.HemH4758of glowingאֵ֗שׁ'EshH784coalsכְּגַחֲלֵי־ke.ga.cha.lei-H1513of fireבֹּֽעֲרוֹת֙bo.'a.rOtH1197, orכְּמַרְאֵ֣הke.mar.'EhH4758of torchesהַלַּפִּדִ֔ים הִ֕יאha.la.pi.Dim hi'H3940 H1931.Fireלָאֵ֔שׁla.'EshH784moved back and forthמִתְהַלֶּ֖כֶתmit.ha.Le.khetH1980betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996the living creaturesהַחַיּ֑וֹתha.chai.YotH2416;it was brightוְנֹ֣גַהּve.No.gahH5051,and lightningבָרָֽק׃va.RakH1300flashedיוֹצֵ֥אyo.Tze'H3318out ofוּמִן־u.min-H4480itהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784.

14The creaturesוְהַחַיּ֖וֹתve.ha.chai.YotH2416were darting back and forthרָצ֣וֹא וָשׁ֑וֹבra.Tzo' va.ShovH7519 H7725as quickly asכְּמַרְאֵ֖הke.mar.'EhH4758flashes of lightningהַבָּזָֽק׃ha.ba.ZakH965.
