1Meanwhile, Mosesוּמֹשֶׁ֗הu.mo.ShehH4872wasהָיָ֥הha.YahH1961shepherdingרֹעֶ֛הro.'EhH7462אֶת־'et-H853the flockצֹ֛אןtzonH6629of his father-in-lawחֹתְנ֖וֹcho.te.NoH2859Jethroיִתְר֥וֹyit.RoH3503,the priestכֹּהֵ֣ןko.HenH3548of Midianמִדְיָ֑ןmid.YanH4080.He ledוַיִּנְהַ֤גvai.yin.HagH5090אֶת־'et-H853the flockהַצֹּאן֙ha.tzoNH6629to the far sideאַחַ֣ר'a.CharH310of the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּ֔רha.mid.BarH4057and cameוַיָּבֹ֛אvai.ya.Vo'H935toאֶל־'el-H413Horebחֹרֵֽבָה׃cho.Re.vahH2722,the mountainהַ֥רharH2022of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430.
2There the angelמַלְאַ֨ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהֹוָ֥הYah.wehH3068appearedוַ֠יֵּרָאVai.ye.ra'H7200to himאֵלָ֛יו'e.LavH413in a blazingבְּלַבַּת־be.la.bat-H3827fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784from withinמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432a bushהַסְּנֶ֑הha.se.NehH5572.Moses sawוַיַּ֗רְא וְהִנֵּ֤הvai.Yar' ve.hi.NehH7200H2009the bushהַסְּנֶה֙ha.se.NehH5572ablazeבֹּעֵ֣רbo.'ErH1197with fireבָּאֵ֔שׁ וְהַסְּנֶ֖הba.'Esh ve.ha.se.NehH784H5572,but it was notאֵינֶ֥נּוּ'ei.Ne.nuH369consumedאֻכָּֽל׃'u.KalH398.
3So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872thoughtוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I must go overאָסֻֽרָה־ נָּ֣א'a.su.rah- na'H5493H4994and seeוְאֶרְאֶ֔הve.'er.'EhH7200אֶת־'et-H853thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088marvelousהַגָּדֹ֖לha.ga.DolH1419sightהַמַּרְאֶ֥הha.mar.'EhH4758.Why isמַדּ֖וּעַma.Du.a'H4069the bushהַסְּנֶֽה׃ha.se.NehH5572notלֹא־lo'-H3808burning upיִבְעַ֥רyiv.'ArH1197?”
4When the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068sawוַיַּ֥רְאvai.Yar'H7200thatכִּ֣יkiH3588he had gone overסָ֣רsarH5493to lookלִרְא֑וֹתlir.'otH7200,Godאֱלֹהִ֜ים'E.lo.HimH430called outוַיִּקְרָא֩vai.yik.Ra'H7121to himאֵלָ֨יו'e.LavH413from withinמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the bushהַסְּנֶ֗הha.se.NehH5572, “Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872!” “Hereהִנֵּֽנִי׃hi.Ne.niH2009I amוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,”he answeredוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.
5“Do notאַל־'al-H408comeתִּקְרַ֣בtik.RavH7126any closerהֲלֹ֑םha.LomH1988,” Godsaidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “Take offשַׁל־shal-H5394your sandalsנְעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ מֵעַ֣ל רַגְלֶ֔יךָne.'a.Lei.kha me.'Al rag.Lei.khaH5275H5921H7272,forכִּ֣יkiH3588the placeהַמָּק֗וֹםha.ma.KomH4725whereאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834youאַתָּה֙'a.TahH859are standingעוֹמֵ֣ד עָלָ֔יוo.Med 'a.LavH5975H5921is holyקֹ֖דֶשׁ הֽוּא׃Ko.desh Hu'H6944H1931groundאַדְמַת־'ad.mat-H127.”
6Then He saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Iאָנֹכִי֙'a.no.KhiH595am the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fatherאָבִ֔יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֧י'e.lo.HeiH430of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֛ם'av.ra.HamH85,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Isaacיִצְחָ֖קyitz.ChakH3327,and the Godוֵאלֹהֵ֣יve.lo.HeiH430of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290.”At this, Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872hidוַיַּסְתֵּ֤רvai.yas.TerH5641his faceפָּנָ֔יוpa.NavH6440,forכִּ֣יkiH3588he was afraidיָרֵ֔אya.Re'H3372to lookמֵהַבִּ֖יטme.ha.BitH5027atאֶל־'el-H413Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.
7The LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I have indeed seenH7200אֶת־'et-H853the afflictionעֳנִ֥י'o.NiH6040of My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853.I have heard themשָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙sha.Ma'.tiH8085crying outצַעֲקָתָ֤םtza.'a.ka.TamH6818because ofמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440their oppressorsנֹֽגְשָׂ֔יוno.ge.SavH5065,andכִּ֥יkiH3588I am awareיָדַ֖עְתִּיya.Da'.tiH3045אֶת־'et-H853of their sufferingsמַכְאֹבָֽיו׃makh.'o.VavH4341.

9And nowוְעַתָּ֕ה הִנֵּ֛הve.'a.Tah hi.NehH6258H2009the cryצַעֲקַ֥תtza.'a.KatH6818of the Israelitesבְּנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖לbe.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121H3478has reachedבָּ֣אָהBa.'ahH935Meאֵלָ֑י'e.LaiH413,and I haveוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571seenרָאִ֙יתִי֙ra.'I.tiH7200אֶת־'et-H853how severelyהַלַּ֔חַץha.La.chatzH3906אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4713are oppressing themלֹחֲצִ֥יםlo.cha.TzimH3905אֹתָֽם׃'o.TamH853.
10Thereforeוְעַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH6258,goלְכָ֔הle.KhahH1980!I am sendingוְאֶֽשְׁלָחֲךָ֖ve.'esh.la.cha.KhaH7971you toאֶל־'el-H413Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֑הpar.'OhH6547to bringוְהוֹצֵ֛אve.ho.Tze'H3318אֶת־'et-H853My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971the Israelitesבְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖לve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121H3478out of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.”
