Leviticus 13
1And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 2When a manH120 shall have in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320 a rising, or a scab, or a brightH934 spotH934, and it becomeH1961 in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320 the plagueH5061 of leprosy, then he shall beH1961 broughtH935 unto AaronH175 the priestH3548, or unto oneH259 of his sonsH1121 the priestsH3548: 3and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on the plagueH5061 in the skinH5785 of the fleshH1320: and if the hairH8181 in the plagueH5061 be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, and the appearanceH4758 of the plagueH5061 be deeperH6013 than the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, it is the plagueH5061 of leprosy; and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on him, and pronounce him uncleanH2930. 4And if the brightH934 spotH934 be whiteH3836 in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be not deeperH6013 than the skinH5785, and the hairH8181 thereof be not turnedH2015 whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 up him that hath the plagueH5061 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 5and the priestH3548 shall look on him the seventhH7637 dayH3117: and, behold, if in his eyesH5869 the plagueH5061 be at a stay, and the plagueH5061 be not spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him up sevenH7651 daysH3117 more: 6and the priestH3548 shall look on him again the seventhH7637 dayH3117; and, behold, if the plagueH5061 be dimH3544, and the plagueH5061 be not spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2891: it is a scab: and he shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and be cleanH2891. 7But if the scab spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, after that he hath showedH7200 himself to the priestH3548 for his cleansing, he shall showH7200 himself to the priestH3548 again: 8and the priestH3548 shall look; and, behold, if the scab be spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is leprosy.
9When the plagueH5061 of leprosy isH1961 in a manH120, then he shall beH1961 broughtH935 unto the priestH3548; 10and the priestH3548 shall look; and, behold, if there be a whiteH3836 rising in the skinH5785, and it have turnedH2015 the hairH8181 whiteH3836, and there be quick rawH4241 fleshH1320 in the rising, 11it is an old leprosy in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, and the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2931: he shall not shutH5462 him up; for he is uncleanH2931. 12And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skinH5785, and the leprosy coverH3680 all the skinH5785 of him that hath the plagueH5061 from his headH7218 even to his feetH7272, as far as appeareth to the priestH3548; 13then the priestH3548 shall look; and, behold, if the leprosy have coveredH3680 all his fleshH1320, he shall pronounce him cleanH2889 that hath the plagueH5061: it is all turnedH2015 whiteH3836: he is cleanH2889. 14But whensoever raw fleshH1320 appeareth in him, he shall be uncleanH2930. 15And the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on the raw fleshH1320, and pronounce him uncleanH2931: the raw fleshH1320 is uncleanH2931: it is leprosy. 16Or if the raw fleshH1320 turnH7725 again, and be changedH2015 unto whiteH3836, then he shall comeH935 unto the priestH3548; 17and the priestH3548 shall look on him; and, behold, if the plagueH5061 be turnedH2015 into whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2889 that hath the plagueH5061: he is cleanH2889.
18And when the fleshH1320 hath in the skinH5785 thereof a boilH7822, and it is healedH7495, 19and in the placeH4725 of the boilH7822 there isH1961 a whiteH3836 rising, or a brightH934 spotH934, reddish-white, then it shall beH1961 showedH7200 to the priestH3548; 20and the priestH3548 shall look; and, behold, if the appearanceH4758 thereof be lowerH8217 than the skinH5785, and the hairH8181 thereof be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boilH7822. 21But if the priestH3548 look on it, and, behold, there be no whiteH3836 hairsH8181 therein, and it be not lowerH8217 than the skinH5785, but be dimH3544; then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him up sevenH7651 daysH3117: 22and if it spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is a plagueH5061. 23But if the brightH934 spotH934 stay in its placeH8478, and be not spreadH6581, it is the scarH6867 of the boilH7822; and the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2891.
24Or when the fleshH1320 hath in the skinH5785 thereof a burning by fireH784, and the quick fleshH1320 of the burning becomeH1961 a brightH934 spotH934, reddish-white, or whiteH3836; 25then the priestH3548 shall look upon it; and, behold, if the hairH8181 in the brightH934 spotH934 be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be deeperH6013 than the skinH5785; it is leprosy, it hath broken out in the burning: and the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosy. 26But if the priestH3548 look on it, and, behold, there be no whiteH3836 hairH8181 in the brightH934 spotH934, and it be no lowerH8217 than the skinH5785, but be dimH3544; then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him up sevenH7651 daysH3117: 27and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 upon him the seventhH7637 dayH3117: if it spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosy. 28And if the brightH934 spotH934 stay in its placeH8478, and be not spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, but be dimH3544; it is the rising of the burning, and the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2891: for it is the scarH6867 of the burning.
29And when a manH376 or womanH802 hath a plagueH5061 upon the headH7218 or upon the beardH2206, 30then the priestH3548 shall look on the plagueH5061; and, behold, if the appearanceH4758 thereof be deeperH6013 than the skinH5785, and there be in it yellow thinH1851 hairH8181, then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him uncleanH2930: it is a scallH5424, it is leprosy of the headH7218 or of the beardH2206. 31And if the priestH3548 look on the plagueH5061 of the scallH5424, and, behold, the appearanceH4758 thereof be not deeperH6013 than the skinH5785, and there be no blackH7838 hairH8181 in it, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 up him that hath the plagueH5061 of the scallH5424 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 32and in the seventhH7637 dayH3117 the priestH3548 shall look on the plagueH5061; and, behold, if the scallH5424 beH1961 not spreadH6581, and there beH1961 in it no yellow hairH8181, and the appearanceH4758 of the scallH5424 beH1961 not deeperH6013 than the skinH5785, 33then he shall be shaven, but the scallH5424 shall he not shaveH1548; and the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 up him that hath the scallH5424 sevenH7651 daysH3117 more: 34and in the seventhH7637 dayH3117 the priestH3548 shall look on the scallH5424; and, behold, if the scallH5424 be not spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be not deeperH6013 than the skinH5785; then the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2891: and he shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and be cleanH2891. 35But if the scallH5424 spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785 after his cleansing, 36then the priestH3548 shall look on him; and, behold, if the scallH5424 be spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, the priestH3548 shall not seekH1239 for the yellow hairH8181; he is uncleanH2931. 37But if in his eyesH5869 the scallH5424 be at a stay, and blackH7838 hairH8181 be grownH6779 up therein; the scallH5424 is healedH7495, he is cleanH2889: and the priestH3548 shall pronounce him cleanH2889.
38And when a manH376 or a womanH802 hath in the skinH5785 of the fleshH1320 brightH934 spotsH934, even whiteH3836 brightH934 spotsH934; 39then the priestH3548 shall look; and, behold, if the brightH934 spotsH934 in the skinH5785 of their fleshH1320 be of a dull whiteH3836, it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skinH5785; he is cleanH2889.
40And if a man’sH376 hair be fallen off his headH7218, he is baldH7142; yet is he cleanH2889. 41And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his headH7218, he is forehead bald; yet is he cleanH2889. 42But if there beH1961 in the baldH1372 head, or the baldH1372 foreheadH1372, a reddish-white plagueH5061; it is leprosy breakingH6524 out in his baldH1372 head, or his baldH1372 foreheadH1372. 43Then the priestH3548 shall look upon him; and, behold, if the rising of the plagueH5061 be reddish-white in his baldH1372 head, or in his baldH1372 foreheadH1372, as the appearanceH4758 of leprosy in the skinH5785 of the fleshH1320; 44he is a leprousH6879 manH376, he is uncleanH2931: the priestH3548 shall surely pronounce him uncleanH2931; his plagueH5061 is in his headH7218.
45And the leper in whom the plagueH5061 is, his clothesH899 shall beH1961 rent, and the hair of his headH7218 shall go loose, and he shall coverH5844 his upper lip, and shall cry, UncleanH2931, uncleanH2931. 46All the daysH3117 wherein the plagueH5061 is in him he shall be uncleanH2931; he is uncleanH2931: he shall dwellH3427 alone; without the campH4264 shall his dwellingH3427 be.
47The garmentH899 also that the plagueH5061 of leprosy isH1961 in, whether it beH1961 a woollen garmentH899, or a linenH6593 garmentH899; 48whether it be in warpH8359, or woofH6154; of linenH6593, or of woollen; whether in a skinH5785, or in anything made of skinH5785; 49if the plagueH5061 beH1961 greenishH3422 or reddishH125 in the garmentH899, or in the skinH5785, or in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anything of skinH5785; it is the plagueH5061 of leprosy, and shall beH1961 showedH7200 unto the priestH3548. 50And the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 upon the plagueH5061, and shutH5462 up that which hath the plagueH5061 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 51and he shall lookH7200 on the plagueH5061 on the seventhH7637 dayH3117: if the plagueH5061 be spreadH6581 in the garmentH899, either in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in the skinH5785, whatever service skinH5785 is used for; the plagueH5061 is a fretting leprosy; it is uncleanH2931. 52And he shall burnH8313 the garmentH899, whether the warpH8359 or the woofH6154, in woollen or in linenH6593, or anything of skinH5785, wherein the plagueH5061 is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall beH1961 burnt in the fireH784.
53And if the priestH3548 shall look, and, behold, the plagueH5061 be not spreadH6581 in the garmentH899, either in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anything of skinH5785; 54then the priestH3548 shall commandH6680 that they washH3526 the thingH8145 wherein the plagueH5061 is, and he shall shutH5462 it up sevenH7651 daysH3117 more: 55and the priestH3548 shall look, after that the plagueH5061 is washedH3526; and, behold, if the plagueH5061 have not changedH2015 its color, and the plagueH5061 be not spreadH6581, it is uncleanH2931; thou shalt burnH8313 it in the fireH784: it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.
56And if the priestH3548 look, and, behold, the plagueH5061 be dimH3544 after the washing thereof, then he shall rend it out of the garmentH899, or out of the skinH5785, or out of the warpH8359, or out of the woofH6154: 57and if it appearH7200 stillH5750 in the garmentH899, either in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anything of skinH5785, it is breakingH6524 out: thou shalt burnH8313 that wherein the plagueH5061 is with fireH784. 58And the garmentH899, either the warpH8359, or the woofH6154, or whatsoever thingH3627 of skinH5785 it be, which thou shalt washH3526, if the plagueH5061 be departedH5493 from them, then it shall be washedH3526 the secondH8145 timeH8145, and shall be cleanH2891.
59This is the lawH8451 of the plagueH5061 of leprosy in a garmentH899 of woollen or linenH6593, either in the warpH8359, or the woofH6154, or anything of skinH5785, to pronounce it cleanH2891, or to pronounce it uncleanH2930.
