Leviticus 26
1Ye shall makeH5414 you no idolsH457, neither shall ye rear you up a graven imageH6459, or a pillarH4676, neither shall ye place any figured stoneH68 in your landH776, to bowH7812 downH7812 unto it: for I am Jehovah your GodH430. 2Ye shall keepH8104 my sabbathsH7676, and reverence my sanctuaryH4720: I am Jehovah.
3If ye walk in my statutesH2708, and keepH8104 my commandmentsH4687, and do them; 4then I will giveH5414 your rainsH1653 in their season, and the landH776 shall yield its increase, and the treesH6086 of the fieldH7704 shall yield their fruitH6529. 5And your threshing shall reachH5381 unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reachH5381 unto the sowing time; and ye shall eatH398 your breadH3899 to the full, and dwellH3427 in your landH776 safely. 6And I will giveH5414 peaceH7965 in the landH776, and ye shall lieH7901 down, and none shall makeH5414 you afraid: and I will cause evilH7451 beasts to cease out of the landH776, neither shall the swordH2719 go through your landH776. 7And ye shall chase your enemiesH341, and they shall fallH5307 before you by the swordH2719. 8And fiveH2568 of you shall chase a hundredH3967, and a hundredH3967 of you shall chase tenH7233 thousandH7233; and your enemiesH341 shall fallH5307 before you by the swordH2719. 9And I will have respect unto you, and makeH6509 you fruitfulH6509, and multiplyH7235 you, and will establishH6965 my covenantH1285 with you. 10And ye shall eatH398 oldH3465 store long kept, and ye shall bringH3318 forthH3318 the oldH3465 because of the newH2319. 11And I will setH5414 my tabernacleH4908 among you: and my soulH5315 shall not abhorH1602 you. 12And I will walkH1980 among you, and will beH1961 your GodH430, and ye shall beH1961 my peopleH5971. 13I am Jehovah your GodH430, who broughtH3318 you forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, that ye should not beH1961 their bondmen; and I have brokenH7665 the barsH4133 of your yokeH5923, and made you goH3318 upright.
14But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandmentsH4687; 15and if ye shall rejectH3988 my statutesH2708, and if your soulH5315 abhorH1602 mine ordinancesH4941, so that ye will not do all my commandmentsH4687, but breakH6565 my covenantH1285; 16I alsoH637 will do this unto you: I will appointH6485 terrorH928 over you, evenH637 consumptionH7829 and feverH6920, that shall consumeH398 the eyesH5869, and makeH6213 the soulH5315 to pine awayH3615; and ye shall sowH2232 your seedH2233 in vain, for your enemiesH341 shall eatH398 it. 17And I will setH5414 my faceH6440 against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemiesH341: they that hateH8130 you shall ruleH7287 over you; and ye shall fleeH5127 when none pursueth you. 18And if ye will not yet for these thingsH428 hearken unto me, then I will chastise you sevenH7651 times more for your sinsH2403. 19And I will breakH7665 the prideH1347 of your power: and I will makeH5414 your heavenH8064 as ironH1270, and your earthH776 as brass; 20and your strengthH3581 shall be spent in vain; for your landH776 shall not yield its increase, neither shall the treesH6086 of the landH776 yield their fruitH6529.
21And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring sevenH7651 times more plaguesH4347 upon you according to your sinsH2403. 22And I will sendH7971 the beast of the fieldH7704 among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattleH929, and makeH3772 you fewH4591 in number; and your waysH1870 shall become desolateH8074.
23And if by these thingsH428 ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walkH1980 contrary unto me; 24then will I alsoH1571 walkH1980 contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, sevenH7651 times for your sinsH2403. 25And I will bringH935 a swordH2719 upon you, that shall execute the vengeanceH5359 of the covenantH1285; and ye shall be gatheredH622 together within your citiesH5892: and I will sendH7971 the pestilenceH1698 among you; and ye shall be delivered into the handH3027 of the enemyH341. 26When I breakH7665 your staffH4294 of breadH3899, tenH6235 womenH802 shall bakeH644 your breadH3899 in oneH259 ovenH8574, and they shall deliver your breadH3899 again by weightH4948: and ye shall eatH398, and not be satisfiedH7646.
27And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walkH1980 contrary unto me; 28then I will walkH1980 contrary unto you in wrathH2534; and I alsoH637 will chastise you sevenH7651 times for your sinsH2403. 29And ye shall eatH398 the fleshH1320 of your sonsH1121, and the fleshH1320 of your daughtersH1323 shall ye eatH398. 30And I will destroyH8045 your highH1116 placesH1116, and cutH3772 down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idolsH1544; and my soulH5315 shall abhorH1602 you. 31And I will makeH5414 your citiesH5892 a wasteH2723, and will bring your sanctuariesH4720 unto desolation, and I will not smellH7306 the savor of your sweet odors. 32And I will bring the landH776 into desolation; and your enemiesH341 that dwellH3427 therein shall be astonished at it. 33And you will I scatterH2219 among the nationsH1471, and I will draw out the swordH2719 after you: and your landH776 shall beH1961 a desolationH8077, and your citiesH5892 shall beH1961 a wasteH2723.
34ThenH227 shall the landH776 enjoy its sabbathsH7676, as long as it lieth desolateH8074, and ye are in your enemies’ landH776; even thenH227 shall the landH776 rest, and enjoy its sabbathsH7676. 35As long as it lieth desolateH8074 it shall have rest, even the rest which it had not in your sabbathsH7676, when ye dweltH3427 upon it. 36And as for them that are leftH7604 of you, I will send a faintness into their heartH3824 in the landsH776 of their enemiesH341: and the soundH6963 of a drivenH5086 leafH5929 shall chase them; and they shall fleeH5127, as one fleeth from the swordH2719; and they shall fallH5307 when none pursueth. 37And they shall stumbleH3782 oneH376 upon another, as it wereH1961 before the swordH2719, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemiesH341. 38And ye shall perishH6 among the nationsH1471, and the landH776 of your enemiesH341 shall eatH398 you up. 39And they that are leftH7604 of you shall pine awayH4743 in their iniquityH5771 in your enemies’ landsH776; and alsoH637 in the iniquitiesH5771 of their fathersH1 shall they pine awayH4743 with them.
40And they shall confessH3034 their iniquityH5771, and the iniquityH5771 of their fathersH1, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and alsoH637 that, because they walkedH1980 contrary unto me, 41I alsoH637 walked contrary unto them, and broughtH935 them into the landH776 of their enemiesH341: if thenH227 their uncircumcisedH6189 heartH3824 be humbledH3665, and they thenH227 acceptH7521 of the punishmentH5771 of their iniquityH5771; 42then will I rememberH2142 my covenantH1285 with JacobH3290; and alsoH637 my covenantH1285 with IsaacH3327, and alsoH637 my covenantH1285 with AbrahamH85 will I rememberH2142; and I will rememberH2142 the landH776. 43The landH776 also shall be leftH5800 by them, and shall enjoy its sabbathsH7676, while it lieth desolateH8074 without them: and they shall acceptH7521 of the punishmentH5771 of their iniquityH5771; because, even because they rejected mine ordinancesH4941, and their soulH5315 abhorredH1602 my statutesH2708. 44And yet for all that, when they are in the landH776 of their enemiesH341, I will not rejectH3988 them, neither will I abhorH1602 them, to destroyH3615 them utterly, and to breakH6565 my covenantH1285 with them; for I am Jehovah their GodH430; 45but I will for their sakes rememberH2142 the covenantH1285 of their ancestors, whom I broughtH3318 forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 in the sight of the nationsH1471, that I might beH1961 their GodH430: I am Jehovah.
46These are the statutesH2706 and ordinancesH4941 and lawsH8451, which Jehovah madeH5414 between him and the children of IsraelH3478 in mount SinaiH5514 by MosesH4872.
