Leviticus 5

1And if any one sinH2398, in that he heareth the voiceH6963 of adjuration, he being a witnessH5707, whether he hath seenH7200 or knownH3045, if he do not utter it, then he shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771. 2Or if any one touchH5060 any uncleanH2931 thingH1697, whether it be the carcassH5038 of an uncleanH2931 beast, or the carcassH5038 of uncleanH2931 cattleH929, or the carcassH5038 of uncleanH2931 creeping thingsH1697, and it be hiddenH5956 from him, and he be uncleanH2931, then he shall be guiltyH816. 3Or if he touchH5060 the uncleannessH2932 of manH120, whatsoever his uncleannessH2932 be wherewith he is uncleanH2930, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guiltyH816. 4Or if any oneH259 swearH7650 rashlyH981 with his lipsH8193 to do evilH7489, or to do goodH3190, whatsoever it be that a manH120 shall utter rashlyH981 with an oathH7621, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guiltyH816 in oneH259 of these thingsH428. 5And it shall beH1961, when he shall beH1961 guiltyH816 in oneH259 of these thingsH428, that he shall confessH3034 that wherein he hath sinnedH2398: 6and he shall bringH935 his trespass-offering unto Jehovah for his sinH2398 which he hath sinnedH2398, a femaleH5347 from the flockH6629, a lamb or a goatH5795, for a sin-offering; and the priestH3548 shall make atonementH3722 for him as concerning his sinH2398.

7And if his means suffice not for a lambH7716, then he shall bringH935 his trespass-offering for that wherein he hath sinnedH2398, twoH8147 turtle-doves, or twoH8147 youngH1121 pigeons, unto Jehovah; oneH259 for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. 8And he shall bringH935 them unto the priestH3548, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering firstH7223, and wring off its headH7218 from its neckH6203, but shall not divide it asunder: 9and he shall sprinkle of the bloodH1818 of the sin-offering upon the sideH7023 of the altarH4196; and the rest of the bloodH1818 shall be drainedH4680 out at the baseH3247 of the altarH4196: it is a sin-offering. 10And he shall offerH6213 the secondH8145 for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinanceH4941; and the priestH3548 shall makeH6213 atonementH3722 for him as concerning his sinH2398 which he hath sinnedH2398, and he shall be forgivenH5545.

11But if his means suffice not for twoH8147 turtle-doves, or twoH8147 youngH1121 pigeons, then he shall bringH935 his oblation for that wherein he hath sinnedH2398, the tenthH6224 part of an ephahH374 of fineH5560 flourH5560 for a sin-offering: he shall putH5414 no oilH8081 upon it, neither shall he putH5414 any frankincenseH3828 thereon; for it is a sin-offering. 12And he shall bringH935 it to the priestH3548, and the priestH3548 shall take his handfulH7062 of it as the memorialH234 thereof, and burn it on the altarH4196, upon the offeringsH801 of Jehovah made by fireH801: it is a sin-offering. 13And the priestH3548 shall make atonementH3722 for him as touching his sinH2398 that he hath sinnedH2398 in any of these thingsH428, and he shall beH1961 forgivenH5545: and the remnant shall beH1961 the priest’sH3548, as the meal-offering.

14And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 15If any oneH4480 commit a trespass, and sinH2398 unwittingly, in the holyH6944 thingsH6944 of Jehovah; then he shall bringH935 his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, a ramH352 without blemish out of the flockH6629, according to thy estimation in silverH3701 by shekelsH8255, after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944, for a trespass-offering: 16and he shall makeH5414 restitutionH7999 for that which he hath done amiss in the holyH6944 thingH6944, and shall addH3254 the fifthH2549 part thereto, and giveH5414 it unto the priestH3548; and the priestH3548 shall makeH5414 atonementH3722 for him with the ramH352 of the trespass-offering, and he shall be forgivenH5545.

17And if any oneH259 sinH2398, and do any of the things which Jehovah hath commandedH4687 not to be done; though he knewH3045 it not, yet is he guiltyH816, and shall bearH5375 his iniquityH5771. 18And he shall bringH935 a ramH352 without blemish out of the flockH6629, according to thy estimation, for a trespass-offering, unto the priestH3548; and the priestH3548 shall makeH3045 atonementH3722 for him concerning the thing wherein he erred unwittingly and knewH3045 it not, and he shall be forgivenH5545. 19It is a trespass-offering: he is certainly guiltyH816 before Jehovah.
