Revised Version 1895

1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 2When a manH120 shall have in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320 a rising, or a scabH5597, or a brightH934 spotH934, and it becomeH1961 in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320 the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883, then he shall be broughtH935 unto AaronH175 the priestH3548, or unto one of his sonsH1121 the priestsH3548: 3and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on the plagueH5061 in the skinH5785 of the fleshH1320: and ifH7200 the hairH8181 in the plagueH5061 be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, and the appearanceH4758 of the plagueH5061 be deeperH6013 than the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, it is the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883: and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on him, and pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930. 4And ifH518 the brightH934 spotH934 be whiteH3836 in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be notH3808 deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785, and the hairH8181 thereof be notH3808 turnedH2015 whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 upH5462 him that hath the plagueH5061 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 5and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on him the seventhH7637 dayH3117: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 in his eyesH5869 the plagueH5061 be at a stayH5975, and the plagueH5061 be notH3808 spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him upH7200 sevenH7651 daysH3117 moreH3808: 6and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on him againH8145 the seventhH7637 dayH3117: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the plagueH5061 be dimH3544, and the plagueH5061 be notH3808 spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2891: it is a scabH4556: and he shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and be cleanH2891. 7But ifH518 the scabH4556 spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, afterH310 that he hath shewn himselfH413 to the priestH3548 for his cleansingH2893, he shall shew himselfH413 to the priestH3548 againH8145: 8and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009, and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the scabH4556 be spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is leprosyH6883. 9When the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883 is in a manH120, then he shall be broughtH935 unto the priestH3548; 10and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009, and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 there be a whiteH3836 rising in the skinH5785, and it have turnedH2015 the hairH8181 whiteH3836, and there be quickH4241 rawH4241 fleshH1320 in the rising, 11it is an old leprosyH6883 in the skinH5785 of his fleshH1320, and the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2931: he shall notH3808 shutH5462 him upH5462; for he is uncleanH2931. 12And ifH518 the leprosyH6883 break outH3605 abroad in the skinH5785, and the leprosyH6883 coverH3680 allH3605 the skinH5785 of him that hath the plagueH5061 from his headH7218 evenH5704 to his feetH7272, as farH5704 as appeareth to the priestH3548; 13then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the leprosyH6883 have coveredH3680 allH3605 his fleshH1320, he shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2889 that hath the plagueH5061: it is allH3605 turnedH2015 whiteH3836: he is cleanH2889. 14But whensoever rawH2416 fleshH1320 appeareth in him, he shall be uncleanH2930. 15And the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 on the rawH2416 fleshH1320, and pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2931: the rawH2416 fleshH1320 is uncleanH2931: it is leprosyH6883. 16Or ifH3588 the rawH2416 fleshH1320 turnH7725 againH7725, and be changedH2015 unto whiteH3836, then he shall comeH935 unto the priestH3548, 17and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on him: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the plagueH5061 be turnedH2015 intoH2015 whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2889 that hath the plagueH5061: he is cleanH2889. 18And when the fleshH1320 hath in the skinH5785 thereof a boilH7822, and it is healedH7495, 19and in the placeH4725 of the boilH7822 there is a whiteH3836 rising, or a brightH934 spotH934, reddish-whiteH125, then it shall be shewed to the priestH3548; 20and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009, and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the appearanceH4758 thereof be lowerH8217 thanH4480 the skinH5785, and the hairH8181 thereof be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883, it hath broken outH4480 in the boilH7822. 21But ifH518 the priestH3548 lookH2009 on it, and, beholdH2009, there be noH369 whiteH3836 hairsH8181 therein, and it be notH369 lowerH8217 thanH4480 the skinH5785, but be dimH3544, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him upH7200 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 22And ifH518 it spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is a plagueH5061. 23But ifH518 the brightH934 spotH934 stayH5975 in itsH5975 placeH8478, and be notH3808 spreadH6581, it is the scarH6867 of the boilH7822; and the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2891. 24Or when the fleshH1320 hath in the skinH5785 thereof a burningH784 by fireH784, and the quickH4241 fleshH1320 of the burningH784 becomeH1961 a brightH934 spotH934, reddish-whiteH125, or whiteH3836; 25then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 uponH7200 it: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the hairH8181 in the brightH934 spotH934 be turnedH2015 whiteH3836, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785; it is leprosyH6883, it hath broken outH4480 in the burning: and the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883. 26But ifH518 the priestH3548 lookH2009 on it, and, beholdH2009, there be noH369 whiteH3836 hairH8181 in the brightH934 spotH934, and it be noH369 lowerH8217 thanH4480 the skinH5785, but be dimH3544; then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 him upH7200 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 27and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 uponH7200 him the seventhH7637 dayH3117: ifH518 it spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883. 28And ifH518 the brightH934 spotH934 stayH5975 in itsH5975 placeH8478, and be notH3808 spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, but be dimH3544; it is the rising of the burningH3544, and the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2891: for it is the scarH6867 of the burningH3544. 29And when a manH376 or womanH802 hath a plagueH5061 uponH1961 the headH7218 or uponH1961 the beardH2206, 30then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on the plagueH5061: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the appearanceH4758 thereof be deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785, and there be in it yellow thinH1851 hairH8181, then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2930: it is a scallH5424, it is leprosyH6883 of the headH7218 or of the beardH2206. 31And ifH3588 the priestH3548 lookH2009 on the plagueH5061 of the scallH5424, and, beholdH2009, the appearanceH4758 thereof be notH369 deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785, and there be noH369 blackH7838 hairH8181 in it, then the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 upH7200 him that hath the plagueH5061 of the scallH5424 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 32And in the seventhH7637 dayH3117 the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on the plagueH5061: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the scallH5424 be notH3808 spreadH6581, and there be in it noH3808 yellow hairH8181, and the appearanceH4758 of the scallH5424 be notH3808 deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785, 33then he shall be shaven, but the scallH5424 shall he notH3808 shaveH1548; and the priestH3548 shall shutH5462 upH5462 him that hath the scallH5424 sevenH7651 daysH3117 moreH3808: 34and in the seventhH7637 dayH3117 the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on the scallH5424: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the scallH5424 be notH3808 spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, and the appearanceH4758 thereof be notH3808 deeperH6013 thanH4480 the skinH5785; then the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2891: and he shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and be cleanH2891. 35But ifH518 the scallH5424 spreadH6581 abroad in the skinH5785 afterH310 his cleansingH2893; 36then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 on him: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the scallH5424 be spreadH6581 in the skinH5785, the priestH3548 shall notH3808 seekH1239 for the yellow hairH8181; he is uncleanH2931. 37But ifH518 in his eyesH5869 the scallH5424 be at a stayH5975, and blackH7838 hairH8181 be grownH6779 upH5975 therein; the scallH5424 is healedH7495, he is cleanH2889: and the priestH3548 shall pronounceH2891 him cleanH2889. 38And when a manH376 or a womanH802 hath in the skinH5785 of their fleshH1320 brightH934 spotsH934, evenH3588 whiteH3836 brightH934 spotsH934; 39then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the brightH934 spotsH934 in the skinH5785 of their fleshH1320 be of a dull whiteH3836; it is a tetter, it hath broken outH7200 in the skinH5785; he is cleanH2889. 40And ifH3588 a man’sH376 hairH7218 be fallen offH7218 his headH7218, he is baldH7142; yet is he cleanH2889. 41And ifH518 his hairH7218 be fallen offH7218 from the frontH6440 partH1931 of his headH7218, he is foreheadH6285 baldH4803; yet is he cleanH2889. 42But ifH3588 there be in the baldH1372 headH7146, or the baldH1372 foreheadH1372, a reddish-whiteH125 plagueH5061; it is leprosyH6883 breakingH6524 out in his baldH1372 headH7146, or his baldH1372 foreheadH1372. 43Then the priestH3548 shall lookH2009 uponH7200 him: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the rising of the plagueH5061 be reddish-whiteH125 in his baldH1372 headH7146, or in his baldH1372 foreheadH1372, as the appearanceH4758 of leprosyH6883 in the skinH5785 of the fleshH1320; 44he is a leprousH6879 manH376, he is uncleanH2931: the priestH3548 shall surelyH2930 pronounceH2930 him uncleanH2931; his plagueH5061 is in his headH7218. 45And the leperH6879 in whomH834 the plagueH5061 is, his clothesH899 shall be rent, and the hairH7218 of his headH7218 shall goH1961 looseH5921, and he shall coverH5844 his upper lip, and shall cryH7121, UncleanH2931, uncleanH2931. 46AllH3605 the daysH3117 whereinH834 the plagueH5061 is in him he shall be uncleanH2931; he is uncleanH2931: he shall dwellH3427 aloneH1931; without the campH4264 shall his dwellingH3427 be. 47The garmentH899 also that the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883 is in, whetherH176 it be a woollen garmentH899, or a linenH6593 garmentH899; 48whetherH176 it be in warpH8359, or woofH6154; of linenH6593, or of woollen; whetherH176 in a skinH5785, or in anyH3605 thingH3605 madeH4399 of skinH5785; 49ifH176 the plagueH5061 be greenishH3422 or reddishH125 in the garmentH899, or in the skinH5785, or in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anyH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785; it is the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883, and shall be shewed unto the priestH3548: 50and the priestH3548 shall lookH7200 uponH7200 the plagueH5061, and shutH5462 upH7200 that which hath the plagueH5061 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 51and he shall lookH7200 on the plagueH5061 on the seventhH7637 dayH3117: ifH3588 the plagueH5061 be spreadH6581 in the garmentH899, eitherH3588 in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in the skinH5785, whateverH834 serviceH4399 skinH5785 is usedH6213 for; the plagueH5061 is a fretting leprosyH6883; it is uncleanH2931. 52And he shall burnH8313 the garmentH899, whetherH176 the warpH8359 or the woofH6154, in woollen or in linenH6593, or anyH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785, whereinH834 the plagueH5061 is: for it is a fretting leprosyH6883; it shall be burntH8313 in the fireH784. 53And ifH518 the priestH3548 shall lookH2009, and, beholdH2009, the plagueH5061 be notH3808 spreadH6581 in the garmentH899, eitherH518 in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anyH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785; 54then the priestH3548 shall commandH6680 that they washH3526 the thingH8145 whereinH834 the plagueH5061 is, and he shall shutH5462 it upH5462 sevenH7651 daysH3117 moreH8145: 55and the priestH3548 shall lookH2009, afterH310 that the plagueH5061 is washedH3526: and, beholdH2009, ifH2009 the plagueH5061 have notH3808 changedH2015 itsH853 colour, and the plagueH5061 be notH3808 spreadH6581, it is uncleanH2931; thou shalt burnH8313 it in the fireH784: it is a fret, whetherH176 the bareness be within or withoutH3808. 56And ifH518 the priestH3548 lookH2009, and, beholdH2009, the plagueH5061 be dimH3544 afterH310 the washing thereof, then he shall rendH7167 it outH4480 of the garmentH899, or outH4480 of the skinH5785, or outH4480 of the warpH8359, or outH4480 of the woofH6154: 57and ifH518 it appearH7200 stillH5750 in the garmentH899, eitherH518 in the warpH8359, or in the woofH6154, or in anyH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785, it is breakingH6524 outH7200: thou shalt burnH8313 that whereinH834 the plagueH5061 is with fireH784. 58And the garmentH899, eitherH176 the warpH8359, or the woofH6154, or whatsoeverH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785 it be, whichH834 thou shalt washH3526, ifH834 the plagueH5061 be departedH5493 from them, then it shall be washedH3526 the secondH8145 time, and shall be cleanH2891. 59This is the lawH8451 of the plagueH5061 of leprosyH6883 in a garmentH899 of woollen or linenH6593, eitherH176 in the warpH8359, or the woofH6154, or anyH3605 thingH3627 of skinH5785, to pronounceH2930 it cleanH2891, or to pronounceH2930 it uncleanH2930.
