Leviticus 22
1And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175 and to his sonsH1121, that they separate themselves from the holyH6944 thingsH6944 of the children of IsraelH3478, which they hallow unto me, and that they profaneH2490 not my holyH6944 nameH8034: I am Jehovah. 3SayH559 unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seedH2233 throughout your generationsH1755, that approacheth unto the holyH6944 thingsH6944, which the children of IsraelH3478 hallow unto Jehovah, having his uncleannessH2932 upon him, that soulH5315 shall be cutH3772 off from before me: I am Jehovah. 4What manH376 soever of the seedH2233 of AaronH175 is a leper, or hath an issue; he shall not eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingsH6944, until he be cleanH2891. And whoso toucheth anything that is uncleanH2931 by the dead, or a manH376 whose seedH2233 goeth from him; 5or whosoever toucheth any creeping thingH8318, whereby he may be madeH2930 uncleanH2930, or a manH376 of whom he may take uncleannessH2932, whatsoever uncleannessH2932 he hath; 6the soulH5315 that toucheth any such shall be uncleanH2930 until the even, and shall not eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingsH6944, unless he batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325. 7And when the sunH8121 is down, he shall be cleanH2891; and afterward he shall eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingsH6944, because it is his breadH3899. 8That which dieth of itself, or is tornH2966 of beasts, he shall not eatH398, to defileH2930 himself therewith: I am Jehovah. 9They shall therefore keepH8104 my chargeH4931, lest they bearH5375 sinH2399 for it, and dieH4191 therein, if they profaneH2490 it: I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.
10There shall no stranger eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingH6944: a sojourner of the priest’sH3548, or a hired servant, shall not eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingH6944. 11But if a priestH3548 buyH7069 any soulH5315, the purchase of his moneyH3701, he shall eatH398 of it; and such as are born in his houseH1004, they shall eatH398 of his breadH3899. 12And if a priest’sH3548 daughterH1323 beH1961 married unto a stranger, she shall not eatH398 of the heave-offering of the holyH6944 thingsH6944. 13But if a priest’sH3548 daughterH1323 beH1961 a widowH490, or divorced, and have no child, and beH1961 returnedH7725 unto her father’sH1 houseH1004, as in her youthH5271, she shall eatH398 of her father’sH1 breadH3899: but there shall no stranger eatH398 thereof. 14And if a manH376 eatH398 of the holyH6944 thingH6944 unwittingly, then he shall putH5414 the fifthH2549 part thereof unto it, and shall giveH5414 unto the priestH3548 the holyH6944 thingH6944. 15And they shall not profaneH2490 the holyH6944 thingsH6944 of the children of IsraelH3478, which they offerH7311 unto Jehovah, 16and so cause them to bearH5375 the iniquityH5771 that bringeth guiltH5771, when they eatH398 their holyH6944 thingsH6944: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.
17And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 18SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175, and to his sonsH1121, and unto all the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, Whosoever he be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the sojournersH1616 in IsraelH3478, that offereth his oblation, whether it be any of their vowsH5088, or any of their freewill-offerings, which they offer unto Jehovah for a burnt-offering; 19that ye may be accepted, ye shall offer a maleH2145 without blemish, of the bullocks, of the sheep, or of the goatsH5795. 20But whatsoever hath a blemishH3971, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not beH1961 acceptable for you. 21And whosoever offereth a sacrificeH2077 of peace-offerings unto Jehovah to accomplish a vowH5088, or for a freewill-offering, of the herdH1241 or of the flockH6629, it shall beH1961 perfectH8549 to beH1961 accepted; there shall beH1961 no blemish therein. 22Blind, or brokenH7665, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto Jehovah, nor makeH5414 an offeringH801 by fireH801 of them upon the altarH4196 unto Jehovah. 23Either a bullock or a lambH7716 that hath anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offerH6213 for a freewill-offering; but for a vowH5088 it shall not be acceptedH7521. 24That which hath its stones bruised, or crushedH3807, or broken, or cutH3772, ye shall not offer unto Jehovah; neither shall ye do thus in your landH776. 25Neither from the handH3027 of a foreigner shall ye offer the breadH3899 of your GodH430 of any of these; because their corruption is in them, there is a blemishH3971 in them: they shall not be acceptedH7521 for you.
26And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 27When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goatH5795, is broughtH3205 forthH3205, then it shall beH1961 sevenH7651 daysH3117 under the dam; and from the eighthH8066 dayH3117 and thenceforth it shall beH1961 acceptedH7521 for the oblation of an offeringH801 made by fireH801 unto Jehovah. 28And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and its youngH1121 both in oneH259 dayH3117. 29And when ye sacrificeH2077 a sacrificeH2077 of thanksgivingH8426 unto Jehovah, ye shall sacrificeH2077 it that ye may be accepted. 30On the same dayH3117 it shall be eatenH398; ye shall leaveH3498 none of it until the morningH1242: I am Jehovah. 31Therefore shall ye keepH8104 my commandmentsH4687, and do them: I am Jehovah. 32And ye shall not profaneH2490 my holyH6944 nameH8034; but I will be hallowed among the children of IsraelH3478: I am Jehovah who halloweth you, 33who broughtH3318 you out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, to beH1961 your GodH430: I am Jehovah.
