John 4:4-10
And he must needs passG1330 through SamariaG4540.
So he cometh to a cityG4172 of SamariaG4540, called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that JacobG2384 gaveG1325 to his sonG5207 JosephG2501:
and Jacob’s wellG4077 wasG1510 there. JesusG2424 thereforeG3767, beingG1510 wearied with his journey, sat thus by the wellG4077. It wasG1510 about the sixthG1623 hourG5610.
There cometh a womanG1135 of SamariaG4540 to drawG501 waterG5204: JesusG2424 saith unto her, GiveG1325 me to drinkG4095.
For his disciplesG3101 were goneG565 awayG565 into the cityG4172 to buyG59 foodG5160.
The SamaritanG4542 womanG1135 thereforeG3767 saith unto him, HowG4459 isG1510 it that thou, beingG1510 a JewG2453, askest drinkG4095 of me, who amG1510 a SamaritanG4542 womanG1135? (For JewsG2453 have no dealings with Samaritans.)
JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto her, If thou knewest the giftG1431 of GodG2316, and who it isG1510 that saith to thee, GiveG1325 me to drinkG4095; thou wouldest have askedG154 of him, and he would have givenG1325 thee livingG2198 waterG5204.
