Galatians 3:13-29

13ChristG5547 redeemedG1805 us from the curseG2671 of the lawG3551, having becomeG1096 a curseG2671 for us; for it is writtenG1125, Cursed is every oneG3588 that hangeth on a treeG3586: 14that upon the GentilesG1484 might comeG1096 the blessingG2129 of AbrahamG11 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424; that we might receiveG2983 the promiseG1860 of the SpiritG4151 through faithG4102.

15Brethren, I speakG3004 after the manner of menG444: Though it be but a man’sG444 covenantG1242, yet when it hath been confirmed, no oneG3762 maketh it void, or addeth thereto. 16NowG1161 to AbrahamG11 wereG1510 the promisesG1860 spokenG3004, and to his seedG4690. He saith not, And to seedsG4690, as of manyG4183; but as of oneG1520, And to thy seedG4690, which isG1510 ChristG5547. 17NowG1161 this I sayG3004: A covenantG1242 confirmed beforehand by GodG2316, the lawG3551, which cameG1096 fourG5071 hundredG5071 and thirtyG5144 yearsG2094 after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promiseG1860 of none effect. 18For if the inheritanceG2817 is of the lawG3551, it is no more of promiseG1860: but GodG2316 hath grantedG5483 it to AbrahamG11 by promiseG1860. 19What thenG3767 is the lawG3551? GodG2316 forbid: for if there had beenG1510 a lawG3551 givenG1325 which could make aliveG2227, verily righteousnessG1343 would have beenG1510 of the lawG3551. 22But the scriptureG1124 shut up all thingsG3956 under sinG266, that the promiseG1860 by faithG4102 in JesusG2424 ChristG5547 might be givenG1325 to them that believeG4100.

23But before faithG4102 cameG2064, we were kept in ward under the lawG3551, shut up unto the faithG4102 which should afterwards be revealedG601. 24SoG2443 that the lawG3551 is becomeG1096 our tutor to bring us unto ChristG5547, that we might be justifiedG1344 by faithG4102. 25But nowG1161 that faithG4102 isG1510 comeG2064, we areG1510 no longer under a tutor. 26For ye areG1510 all sonsG5207 of GodG2316, through faithG4102, in ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 27For as manyG3745 of you as were baptizedG907 into ChristG5547 did putG1746 on ChristG5547. 28There can beG1510 neither JewG2453 nor GreekG1672, there can beG1510 neither bond nor freeG1658, there can beG1510 no maleG730 and femaleG2338; for ye all areG1510 oneG1520 man in ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 29And if ye areG1510 Christ’s, thenG1161 areG1510 ye Abraham’s seedG4690, heirsG2818 accordingG2596 to promiseG1860.
