2But the JewsG2453 that were disobedientG544 stirred up the soulsG5590 of the GentilesG1484, and made them evil affected against the brethren. 3Long timeG5550 thereforeG3767 they tarried there speakingG3955 boldlyG3955 in the LordG2962, who bare witnessG3140 unto the wordG3056 of his graceG5485, grantingG1325 signsG4592 and wondersG5059 to be done by their handsG5495. 4But the multitudeG4128 of the cityG4172 wasG1510 divided; and part held with the JewsG2453, and part with the apostlesG652. 5And whenG5613 there was made an onset both of the GentilesG1484 and of the JewsG2453 with their rulersG758, to treat them shamefully and to stone them, 6they became awareG4894 of it, and fled unto the citiesG4172 of Lycaonia, LystraG3082 and DerbeG1191, and the regionG4066 round about: 7and there they preached the gospel.
