2 Kings 6:24-31
24And it came to pass after this, that Ben-hadadH1130 kingH4428 of Syria gatheredH6908 all his host, and wentH5927 up, and besieged SamariaH8111. 25And there wasH1961 a greatH1419 famineH7458 in SamariaH8111: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass’s headH7218 wasH1961 sold for fourscore pieces of silverH3701, and the fourthH7255 part of a kab of dove’s dung for fiveH2568 pieces of silverH3701. 26And as the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 wasH1961 passingH5674 by upon the wallH2346, there criedH6817 a womanH802 unto him, sayingH559, Help, my lordH113, O kingH4428. 27And he saidH559, If Jehovah do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the threshing-floor, or out of the winepressH3342? 28And the kingH4428 saidH559 unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This womanH802 saidH559 unto me, GiveH5414 thy sonH1121, that we may eatH398 him to-day, and we will eatH398 my sonH1121 to-morrow. 29So we boiledH1310 my sonH1121, and did eatH398 him: and I saidH559 unto her on the next dayH3117, GiveH5414 thy sonH1121, that we may eatH398 him; and she hath hidH2244 her sonH1121. 30And it came to passH5674, when the kingH4428 heardH8085 the wordsH1697 of the womanH802, that he rent his clothesH899 (now he wasH1961 passingH5674 by upon the wallH2346); and the peopleH5971 lookedH7200, and, behold, he had sackclothH8242 within upon his fleshH1320. 31Then he saidH559, GodH430 do so to me, and more also, if the headH7218 of ElishaH477 the sonH1121 of ShaphatH8202 shall standH5975 on him this dayH3117.
