1Who is this that cometh fromEdomמֵאֱד֗וֹםme.'e.DomH123, with dyedgarmentsבְּגָדִים֙be.ga.DimH899fromBozrahמִבָּצְרָ֔הmi.ba.tze.RahH1224? this that is glorious in hisapparelבִּלְבוּשׁ֔וֹbil.vu.ShoH3830,marchingצֹעֶ֖הtzo.'EhH6808in thegreatnessבְּרֹ֣בbe.RoH7230of hisstrengthכֹּח֑וֹko.ChoH3581? I thatspeakמְדַבֵּ֥רme.da.BerH1696inrighteousnessבִּצְדָקָ֖הbitz.da.KahH6666,mightyH7230tosaveלְהוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃le.ho.Shi.a'H3467.

2Wherefore art thouredאָדֹ֖ם'a.DomH122in thineapparelלִלְבוּשֶׁ֑ךָlil.vu.She.khaH3830, and thygarmentsוּבְגָדֶ֖יךָu.ve.ga.Dei.khaH899like him that treadeth in the winefat?

3I havetroddenדָּרַ֣כְתִּיda.Rakh.tiH1869the winepressaloneלְבַדִּ֗יle.va.DiH905; and of thepeoplesוּמֵֽעַמִּים֙u.me.'a.MimH5971there wasnoאֵֽין־'ein-H369manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376withmeH5921: yea, Itrodוְאֶדְרְכֵ֣םve.'ed.re.KhemH1869them in mineangerבְּאַפִּ֔יbe.'a.PiH639, andtrampledוְאֶרְמְסֵ֖םve.'er.me.SemH7429them in myfuryבַּחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534; and theirlifebloodנִצְחָם֙nitz.ChamH5332is sprinkleduponH5921mygarmentsבְּגָדַ֔יbe.ga.DaiH899, and I havestainedאֶגְאָֽלְתִּי׃'eg.'A.le.tiH1351allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605myraimentמַלְבּוּשַׁ֖יmal.bu.ShaiH4403.

4For thedayי֥וֹםYomH3117ofvengeanceנָקָ֖םna.KamH5359was in mineheartבְּלִבִּ֑יbe.li.BiH3820, and theyearוּשְׁנַ֥תu.she.NatH8141of myredeemedגְּאוּלַ֖יge.'u.LaiH1350iscomeבָּֽאָה׃Ba.'ahH935.

5And Ilookedוְאַבִּיט֙ve.'a.BitH5027, and there wasnoneוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369tohelpעֹזֵ֔ר'o.ZerH5826; and I wondered that there wasnoneוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369toupholdסוֹמֵ֑ךְso.MekhH5564: therefore mine ownarmזְרֹעִ֔יze.ro.'IH2220broughtH3467salvationH3467untomeH3467; and myfuryוַחֲמָתִ֖יva.cha.ma.TiH2534, itupheldסְמָכָֽתְנִי׃se.ma.Kha.te.niH5564meH3467.

6And Itrodוְאָב֤וּסve.'a.VusH947downH3381thepeoplesעַמִּים֙'a.MimH5971in mineangerבְּאַפִּ֔יbe.'a.PiH639, andmadeH7937themdrunkוַאֲשַׁכְּרֵ֖םva.'a.sha.ke.RemH7937in myfuryבַּחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534, and IpouredH3381out theirlifebloodנִצְחָֽם׃ סnitz.ChamH5332on theearthלָאָ֖רֶץla.'A.retzH776.

7I willmakeH2142mentionH2142of the lovingkindnesses of theLORDיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068, and thepraisesתְּהִלֹּ֣תte.hi.LotH8416of theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,accordingH5921toallכֹּ֥לkolH3605that theLORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068hath bestowed onusH5921; and thegreatוְרַב־ve.rav-H7227goodnessטוּב֙tuvH2898towardH5921thehouseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whichH834he hath bestowed on themaccordingH5921to hismerciesכְּֽרַחֲמָ֖יוke.ra.cha.MavH7356, andaccordingH5921to themultitudeוּכְרֹ֥בu.khe.RoH7230of his lovingkindnesses.

8For hesaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,Surelyאַךְ־'akh-H389, they are mypeopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971,childrenבָּנִ֖יםba.NimH1121that willnotלֹ֣אlo'H3808dealיְשַׁקֵּ֑רוּye.sha.Ke.ruH8266falselyH8266:soוַיְהִ֥יvay.HiH1961he was their saviour.

9Inallבְּֽכָל־be.kholH3605their affliction he was afflicted, and theangelוּמַלְאַ֤ךְu.mal.'AkhH4397of hispresenceפָּנָיו֙pa.NavH6440savedהֽוֹשִׁיעָ֔םho.shi.'AmH3467them: in hisloveבְּאַהֲבָת֥וֹbe.'a.ha.va.ToH160and in his pity heredeemedגְאָלָ֑םge.'a.LamH1350them; and he bare them, andcarriedוַֽיְנַשְּׂאֵ֖םvay.na.se.'EmH5375themallכָּל־kol-H3605thedaysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117ofoldעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.
