1Theburdenמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853ofEgyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714.Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009, theLORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068ridethuponעַל־'al-H5921aswiftקַל֙kalH7031cloudעָ֥ב'avH5645, and cometh untoEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714: and theidolsאֱלִילֵ֤י'e.li.LeiH457ofEgyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714shall bemovedוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935at hispresenceמִפָּנָ֔יוmi.pa.NavH6440, and theheartוּלְבַ֥בu.le.VavH3824ofEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shallmeltיִמַּ֥סyi.MasH4549in themidstבְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃be.kir.BoH7130of it.

2And I will stir up theEgyptiansמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714againstH3898theEgyptiansבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714: and they shallfightוְנִלְחֲמ֥וּve.nil.cha.MuH3898everyאִישׁ־'ish-H376oneagainstH3898hisbrotherבְּאָחִ֖יוbe.'a.ChivH251, andeveryוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376oneagainstH3898his neighbour;cityעִ֣יר'irH5892againstH3898cityבְּעִ֔ירbe.'IrH5892, andkingdomמַמְלָכָ֖הmam.la.KhahH4467againstH3898kingdomבְּמַמְלָכָֽה׃be.mam.la.KhahH4467.

3And thespiritרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307ofEgyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714shall bemadeH1875void in themidstבְּקִרְבּ֔וֹbe.kir.BoH7130of it; and I willdestroyאֲבַלֵּ֑עַ'a.va.Le.a'H1104thecounselוַעֲצָת֖וֹva.'a.tza.ToH6098thereof: and they shallseekH1875unto theidolsהָֽאֱלִילִים֙ha.'e.li.LimH457, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiarspiritsH7307, and to the wizards.

4And I willgiveH7186over theEgyptiansH4714intoH4714thehandבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027of acruelH7186lordH3068; and afierceעַז֙'azH5794kingוּמֶ֤לֶךְu.Me.lekhH4428shallruleיִמְשָׁל־yim.shol-H4910over them, saith theLordH3068, theLORDH3068ofhostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

5And thewatersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325shall fail from theseaמֵֽהַיָּ֑םme.hai.YamH3220, and theriverוְנָהָ֖רve.na.HarH5104shall be wasted andbecomeH3001dryוְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ve.ya.VeshH3001.

6And theriversנְהָר֔וֹתne.ha.RotH5104shall stink; thestreamsH5104ofEgyptמָצ֑וֹרma.TzorH4693shall be minished and dried up: thereedsקָנֶ֥הka.NehH7070and flags shallwitherוְחָרְב֖וּve.cha.re.VuH2717awayקָמֵֽלוּ׃ka.Me.luH7060.

7The meadows by theNileיְא֖וֹרye.'orH2975, by the brink of theNileיְא֑וֹרye.'orH2975, andallוְכֹל֙ve.KholH3605that issownמִזְרַ֣עmiz.Ra'H4218by theNileיְא֔וֹרye.'orH2975, shallbecomeH3001dryיִיבַ֥שׁyi.VashH3001, bedrivenH5086awayH5086, and benoH369moreH369.

8The fishers also shalllamentוְאָנוּ֙ve.'a.NuH578, andallכָּל־kol-H3605they thatcastמַשְׁלִיכֵ֥יmash.li.KheiH7993angleintoH5921theNileבַיְא֖וֹרvay.'orH2975shallmournוְאָ֣בְל֔וּve.'A.ve.LuH56, and they thatspreadוּפֹרְשֵׂ֥יu.fo.re.SeiH6566netsuponH5921thewatersמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325shalllanguishאֻמְלָֽלוּ׃'um.La.luH535.

9Moreover they thatworkעֹבְדֵ֥י'oe.DeiH5647incombedשְׂרִיק֑וֹתse.ri.KotH8305flaxפִשְׁתִּ֖יםfish.TimH6593, and they thatweaveוְאֹרְגִ֖יםve.'o.re.GimH707white cloth, shall beashamedוּבֹ֛שׁוּu.Vo.shuH954.

10AndherH3605pillarsשָׁתֹתֶ֖יהָsha.to.Tei.haH8356shall be broken in pieces,allH3605they that work for hire shall begrievedאַגְמֵי־'ag.mei-H99insoulנָֽפֶשׁ׃Na.feshH5315.

11Theprincesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269ofZoanצֹ֔עַןTzo.'anH6814areutterlyאַךְ־'akh-H389foolishאֱוִלִים֙'e.vi.LimH191; thecounselH6098of thewisestחַכְמֵי֙chakh.MeiH2450counsellors ofPharaohפַרְעֹ֔הfar.'OhH6547is become brutish:howאֵ֚יךְ'eikhH349sayתֹּאמְר֣וּto.me.RuH559ye untoPharaohפַּרְעֹ֔הpar.'OhH6547, I am thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121of thewiseחֲכָמִ֥יםcha.kha.MimH2450, thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121of ancientkingsמַלְכֵי־mal.khei-H4428?

13Theprincesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269ofZoanצֹ֔עַןTzo.'anH6814arebecomeנֽוֹאֲלוּ֙no.'a.LuH2973foolsH2973, theprincesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269of Noph aredeceivedH8582; they have causedEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714togoH8582astrayH8582, that are thecornerפִּנַּ֥תpi.NatH6438stone of hertribesשְׁבָטֶֽיהָ׃she.va.Tei.haH7626.

14TheLORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068hathmingledמָסַ֥ךְma.SakhH4537aspiritר֣וּחַRu.achH7307of perverseness in themidstבְּקִרְבָּ֖הּbe.kir.BahH7130ofherH3605: and they have causedEgyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714togoוְהִתְע֤וּve.hit.'UH8582astrayכְּהִתָּע֥וֹתke.hi.ta.'otH8582ineveryH3605workמַעֲשֵׂ֔הוּma.'a.Se.huH4639thereof, as adrunkenH7910manH7910staggereth in hisvomitבְּקִיאֽוֹ׃be.ki.'OH6892.

15Neitherוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808shall there be forEgyptלְמִצְרַ֖יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714anyיִהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961workמַֽעֲשֶׂ֑הma.'a.SehH4639,whichאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218ortailוְזָנָ֖בve.za.NavH2180,palmכִּפָּ֥הki.PahH3712branchH3712or rush, maydoיַעֲשֶׂ֛הya.'a.SehH6213.

16It In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shallEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714be like untowomenכַּנָּשִׁ֑יםka.na.ShimH802: and it shalltrembleוְחָרַ֣ד׀ve.cha.RadH2729andfearוּפָחַ֗דu.fa.ChadH6342becauseעָלָֽיו׃'a.LavH5921of the shaking of thehandיַד־yad-H3027of theLORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he shaketh over it.

17And thelandאַדְמַ֨ת'ad.MatH127ofJudahיְהוּדָ֤הye.hu.DahH3063shallbecomeוְ֠הָיְתָהVe.ha.ye.tahH1961aterrorלְחָגָּ֔אle.cha.Ga'H2283untoEgyptלְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙le.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,everyכֹּל֩kolH3605one towhomאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834mentionיַזְכִּ֥ירyaz.KirH2142ismadeH1961thereof shall beafraidיִפְחָ֑דyif.ChadH6342,becauseH5921of thepurposeעֲצַת֙'a.TzatH6098of theLORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he purposethagainstH5921it.

18In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117there shall befiveחָמֵ֨שׁcha.MeshH2568citiesעָרִ֜ים'a.RimH5892in thelandבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרַ֗יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714thatspeakמְדַבְּרוֹת֙me.da.be.rOtH1696thelanguageשְׂפַ֣תse.FatH8193ofCanaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667, andswearוְנִשְׁבָּע֖וֹתve.nish.ba.'otH7650to theLORDלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635; one shall becalledיֵאָמֵ֖רye.'a.MerH559Thecityעִ֣יר'irH5892ofdestructionהַהֶ֔רֶסha.He.resH2041.

19In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall there be analtarמִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙miz.Be.achH4196to theLORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068in themidstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of thelandאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, and apillarוּמַצֵּבָ֥הu.ma.tze.VahH4676at theborderגְּבוּלָ֖הּge.vu.LahH1366thereof to theLORDלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

20And it shall be for asignלְא֥וֹתle.'otH226and for awitnessוּלְעֵ֛דu.le.'EdH5707unto theLORDלַֽיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635in thelandבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714: for they shallcryיִצְעֲק֤וּyitz.'a.KuH6817unto theLORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588of theoppressorsלֹֽחֲצִ֔יםlo.cha.TzimH3905, and he shallsendוְיִשְׁלַ֥חve.yish.LachH7971them a saviour, and a defender, and he shalldeliverוְהִצִּילָֽם׃ve.hi.tzi.LamH5337them.

21And theLORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shall beknownוְנוֹדַ֤עve.no.Da'H3045toEgyptלְמִצְרַ֔יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, and theEgyptiansמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shallknowוְיָדְע֥וּve.ya.de.'UH3045theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068in thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117; yea, they shallworshipH5647withsacrificeזֶ֣בַחZe.vachH2077and oblation, and shallvowנֵ֥דֶרNe.derH5088avowH5088unto theLORDלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068, and shallperformH5647it.

22And theLORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068shallsmiteH5062Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, smiting andhealingוְרָפ֑וֹאve.ra.Fo'H7495; and they shallreturnוְשָׁ֙בוּ֙ve.Sha.vuH7725unto theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, and he shall beentreatedוְנֶעְתַּ֥רve.ne'.TarH6279of them, and shallhealוּרְפָאָֽם׃u.re.fa.'AmH7495them.

23In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall there be ahighwayמְסִלָּ֤הme.si.LahH4546outH935ofEgyptמִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714toAssyriaH804, and the Assyrian shallcomeH935intoH935Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֖יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, and theEgyptianוּמִצְרַ֣יִםu.mitz.Ra.yimH4714intoH935AssyriaH804; and theEgyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shallworshipוְעָבְד֥וּve.'a.ve.DuH5647with the Assyrians.
