1Who isthis that comethבָּ֣אba'H935from Edomמֵאֱד֗וֹםme.'e.DomH123,with dyedחֲמ֤וּץcha.MutzH2556garmentsבְּגָדִים֙be.ga.DimH899from Bozrahמִבָּצְרָ֔הmi.ba.tze.RahH1224? this that isgloriousהָד֣וּרha.DurH1921in his apparelבִּלְבוּשׁ֔וֹbil.vu.ShoH3830,travellingצֹעֶ֖הtzo.'EhH6808in the greatnessבְּרֹ֣בbe.RoH7230of his strengthכֹּח֑וֹko.ChoH3581?I that speakמְדַבֵּ֥רme.da.BerH1696in righteousnessבִּצְדָקָ֖הbitz.da.KahH6666,mightyרַ֥בravH7227to saveלְהוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃le.ho.Shi.a'H3467.

2Wherefore art thouredאָדֹ֖ם'a.DomH122in thine apparelלִלְבוּשֶׁ֑ךָlil.vu.She.khaH3830,and thy garmentsוּבְגָדֶ֖יךָu.ve.ga.Dei.khaH899like him that treadethכְּדֹרֵ֥ךְke.do.RekhH1869in the winefatבְּגַֽת׃be.GatH1660?

3I have troddenדָּרַ֣כְתִּיda.Rakh.tiH1869the winepressפּוּרָ֣ה׀pu.RahH6333alone; and of the peopleוּמֵֽעַמִּים֙u.me.'a.MimH5971there wasnoneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376with me: for I will treadוְאֶדְרְכֵ֣םve.'ed.re.KhemH1869them in mine angerבְּאַפִּ֔יbe.'a.PiH639,and trampleוְאֶרְמְסֵ֖םve.'er.me.SemH7429them in my furyבַּחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534;and their bloodנִצְחָם֙nitz.ChamH5332shall be sprinkledוְיֵ֤זve.YezH5137upon my garmentsבְּגָדַ֔יbe.ga.DaiH899,and I will stainאֶגְאָֽלְתִּי׃'eg.'A.le.tiH1351all my raimentמַלְבּוּשַׁ֖יmal.bu.ShaiH4403.

4For the dayי֥וֹםYomH3117of vengeanceנָקָ֖םna.KamH5359isin mine heartבְּלִבִּ֑יbe.li.BiH3820,and the yearוּשְׁנַ֥תu.she.NatH8141of my redeemedגְּאוּלַ֖יge.'u.LaiH1350is comeבָּֽאָה׃Ba.'ahH935.

5And I lookedוְאַבִּיט֙ve.'a.BitH5027, and there wasnone to helpעֹזֵ֔ר'o.ZerH5826;and I wonderedוְאֶשְׁתּוֹמֵ֖םve.'esh.to.MemH8074that there wasnone to upholdסוֹמֵ֑ךְso.MekhH5564:therefore mine own armזְרֹעִ֔יze.ro.'IH2220brought salvationוַתּ֤וֹשַֽׁעva.To.o.sha'H3467unto me; and my furyוַחֲמָתִ֖יva.cha.ma.TiH2534,it upheldסְמָכָֽתְנִי׃se.ma.Kha.te.niH5564me.

6And I will tread downוְאָב֤וּסve.'a.VusH947the peopleעַמִּים֙'a.MimH5971in mine angerבְּאַפִּ֔יbe.'a.PiH639,and make them drunkוַאֲשַׁכְּרֵ֖םva.'a.sha.ke.RemH7937in my furyבַּחֲמָתִ֑יba.cha.ma.TiH2534,and I will bring downוְאוֹרִ֥ידve.'o.RidH3381their strengthנִצְחָֽם׃ סnitz.ChamH5332to the earthלָאָ֖רֶץla.'A.retzH776.

7I will mentionאַזְכִּיר֙'az.KirH2142the lovingkindnessesחַֽסְדֵ֨יchas.DeiH2617of the Lordיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068, andthe praisesתְּהִלֹּ֣תte.hi.LotH8416of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,according to all that the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068hath bestowedגְּמָלָ֖נוּge.ma.La.nuH1580on us, and the greatוְרַב־ve.rav-H7227goodnessטוּב֙tuvH2898toward the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,which he hath bestowedגְּמָלָ֥םge.ma.LamH1580on them according to his merciesכְּֽרַחֲמָ֖יוke.ra.cha.MavH7356,and according to the multitudeוּכְרֹ֥בu.khe.RoH7230of his lovingkindnessesחֲסָדָֽיו׃cha.sa.DavH2617.

8For he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, Surely they aremy peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971,childrenבָּנִ֖יםba.NimH1121thatwill not lieיְשַׁקֵּ֑רוּye.sha.Ke.ruH8266:so he was their Saviourלְמוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃le.mo.Shi.a'H3467.

9In all their afflictionצָרָתָ֣ם׀tza.ra.TamH6869he was afflictedצָ֗רTzarH6862,and the angelוּמַלְאַ֤ךְu.mal.'AkhH4397of his presenceפָּנָיו֙pa.NavH6440savedהֽוֹשִׁיעָ֔םho.shi.'AmH3467them: in his loveבְּאַהֲבָת֥וֹbe.'a.ha.va.ToH160and in his pityוּבְחֶמְלָת֖וֹu.ve.chem.la.ToH2551he redeemedגְאָלָ֑םge.'a.LamH1350them; and he bareוַֽיְנַטְּלֵ֥םvay.na.te.LemH5190them, and carriedוַֽיְנַשְּׂאֵ֖םvay.na.se.'EmH5375them all the daysיְמֵ֥יye.MeiH3117of oldעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.
