Isaiah 35

1Thewildernessמִדְבָּ֖רmid.BarH4057and the solitary place shall begladיְשֻׂשׂ֥וּםye.su.SumH7797; and thedesertעֲרָבָ֛ה'a.ra.VahH6160shallrejoiceוְתָגֵ֧לve.ta.GelH1523, and blossom as theroseכַּחֲבַצָּֽלֶת׃ka.cha.va.Tza.letH2261.

2It shall blossom abundantly, andrejoiceוְתָגֵ֗לve.ta.GelH1523evenאַ֚ף'afH637withjoyוְרַנֵּ֔ןve.ra.NenH7442and singing; thegloryכְּב֤וֹדke.VodH3519ofLebanonהַלְּבָנוֹן֙ha.le.va.nOnH3844shall begivenנִתַּן־ni.tan-H5414unto it, the excellency ofCarmelהַכַּרְמֶ֖לha.kar.MelH3760andSharonוְהַשָּׁר֑וֹןve.ha.sha.RonH8289: they shallseeיִרְא֥וּyir.'UH7200thegloryכְבוֹד־khe.Vod-H3519of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, the excellency of ourGodאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ס'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

3Strengthenחַזְּק֖וּcha.ze.KuH2388ye theweakH3782handsיָדַ֣יִםya.Da.yimH3027, and confirm thefeebleH3782kneesוּבִרְכַּ֥יִםu.vir.Ka.yimH1290.

5Then theeyesעֵינֵ֣י'ei.NeiH5869of theblindעִוְרִ֑ים'iv.RimH5787shall beopenedתִּפָּתַֽחְנָה׃ti.pa.Tach.nahH6605, and theearsוְאָזְנֵ֥יve.'a.ze.NeiH241of thedeafחֵרְשִׁ֖יםche.re.ShimH2795shall be unstopped.

6Then shall thelameפִּסֵּ֔חַpi.Se.achH6455manH6455leapיְדַלֵּ֤גye.da.LegH1801as an hart, and thetongueלְשׁ֣וֹןle.ShonH3956of the dumb shallsingוְתָרֹ֖ןve.ta.RonH7442: for in thewildernessבַמִּדְבָּר֙va.mid.BarH4057shallwatersמַ֔יִםMa.yimH4325breakH1234outH1234, andstreamsוּנְחָלִ֖יםu.ne.cha.LimH5158in thedesertבָּעֲרָבָֽה׃ba.'a.ra.VahH6160.

8And anhighwayוָדֶ֗רֶךְva.De.rekhH1870shall be there, and awayוְדֶ֤רֶךְve.De.rekhH1870, and it shall becalledיִקָּ֣רֵאyi.Ka.re'H7121Thewayדֶּ֛רֶךְDe.rekhH1870ofholinessהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ha.Ko.deshH6944; theuncleanטָמֵ֖אta.Me'H2931shallnotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808passיַעַבְרֶ֥נּוּya.'av.Re.nuH5674over it; but it shall be forthoseוְהָיָה־ve.ha.yah-H1961: the wayfaringmenH7121, yeafoolsוֶאֱוִילִ֖יםve.'e.vi.LimH191, shallnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808errיִתְעֽוּ׃yit.'UH8582therein.
