2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,prophesyהִנָּבֵא֙hi.na.Ve'H5012, andsayH559,Thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136:Howlהֵילִ֖ילוּhei.Li.luH3213ye, Woe worth thedayלַיּֽוֹם׃lai.YomH3117!

3For thedayי֔וֹםYomH3117isnearקָר֣וֹבka.RovH7138,evenכִּֽי־ki-H3588thedayי֖וֹםYomH3117of theLORDלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068isnearוְקָר֥וֹבve.ka.RovH7138, adayי֣וֹםYomH3117ofcloudsעָנָ֔ן'a.NanH6051; it shall be the time of the heathen.

4And aswordחֶ֙רֶב֙che.revH2719shallcomeוּבָאָ֥הu.va.'AhH935uponH935Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, andanguishחַלְחָלָה֙chal.cha.LahH2479shall be inEthiopiaבְּכ֔וּשׁbe.KhushH3568, when theslainחָלָ֖לcha.LalH2491shallfallבִּנְפֹ֥לbin.FolH5307inEgyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714; and they shalltakeוְלָקְח֣וּve.la.ke.ChuH3947awayH3947herH3947multitudeהֲמוֹנָ֔הּha.mo.NahH1995, andherH3947foundationsיְסוֹדֹתֶֽיהָ׃ye.so.do.Tei.haH3247shall bebrokenוְנֶהֶרְס֖וּve.ne.her.SuH2040downH5307.

5Ethiopiaכּ֣וּשׁkushH3568, andPutוּפ֤וּטu.FutH6316, andLudוְלוּד֙ve.LudH3865, andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the mingledpeopleH1121, and Cub, and thechildrenH1121of thelandאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776that is inleagueהַבְּרִ֑יתha.be.RitH1285, shallfallיִפֹּֽלוּ׃ פyi.Po.luH5307with them by theswordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719.

6Thusכֹּ֚הkohH3541saith theLORDH3068: They also thatupholdסֹמְכֵ֣יso.me.KheiH5564Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shallfallוְנָֽפְלוּ֙ve.na.fe.LuH5307, and theprideגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347ofherH3381powerעֻזָּ֑הּ'u.ZahH5797shallcomeוְיָרַ֖דve.ya.RadH3381downH3381: from the tower of Seveneh shall theyfallיִפְּלוּ־yi.pe.lu-H5307in it by theswordבַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ba.Che.revH2719, saith theLordH3068GODH3068.

7And they shall bedesolateוְנָשַׁ֕מּוּve.na.Sha.muH8074in themidstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of thecountriesאֲרָצ֣וֹת'a.ra.TzotH776that aredesolateנְשַׁמּ֑וֹתne.sha.MotH8074, andherתִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃Tih.Yei.nahH1961citiesוְעָרָ֕יוve.'a.RavH5892shall be in themidstבְּתוֹךְ־be.tokh-H8432of thecitiesעָרִ֥ים'a.RimH5892that are wasted.

8And they shallknowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, when I havesetבְּתִתִּי־be.ti.ti-H5414afireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784inEgyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, andallH3605herH3605helpersעֹזְרֶֽיהָ׃'o.ze.Rei.haH5826are destroyed.

9In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shallmessengersמַלְאָכִ֤יםmal.'a.KhimH4397goיֵצְא֨וּye.tze.'UH3318forthH3318frombeforeH6440meH6440inshipsבַּצִּ֔יםba.TzimH6716tomakeH2729the careless EthiopiansafraidH2729; and there shall beanguishחַלְחָלָ֤הchal.cha.LahH2479uponבָּאָֽה׃ סba.'AhH935them, as in thedayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117ofEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; for,loהִנֵּ֖הhi.NehH2009, it cometh.

10Thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136: I will alsomakeH3027themultitudeהֲמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995ofEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714toceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ve.hish.ba.TiH7673, by thehandבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027ofNebuchadrezzarנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥רne.vu.khad.re.TzarH5019kingמֶלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofBabylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894.

11He and hispeopleוְעַמּ֤וֹve.'a.MoH5971with him, the terrible of thenationsגוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471, shall bebroughtמֽוּבָאִ֖יםmu.va.'ImH935in todestroyלְשַׁחֵ֣תle.sha.ChetH7843thelandהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776; and they shall draw theirswordsחַרְבוֹתָם֙char.vo.TamH2719againstעַל־'al-H5921Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, andfillוּמָלְא֥וּu.mal.'UH4390thelandהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776with theslainחָלָֽל׃cha.LalH2491.

12And I willmakeוְנָתַתִּ֤יve.na.ta.TiH5414theriversיְאֹרִים֙ye.'o.RimH2975dryחָֽרָבָ֔הcha.ra.VahH2724, and willsellוּמָכַרְתִּ֥יu.ma.khar.TiH4376thelandהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776intoH776thehandבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027ofevilרָעִ֑יםra.'ImH7451men; and I willmakeH5414thelandאֶ֤רֶץ'E.retzH776desolateוַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞יva.ha.shi.mo.TiH8074, andallוּמְלֹאָהּ֙u.me.lo.'AhH4393that is therein, by thehandבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027ofstrangersזָרִ֔יםza.RimH2114: I theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068havespokenדִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ סdi.Bar.tiH1696it.

13Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136: I will alsodestroyוְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨יve.ha.'a.vad.TiH6theidolsגִלּוּלִ֜יםgi.lu.LimH1544, and I willcauseH5414theimagesאֱלִילִים֙'e.li.LimH457toceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤יve.hish.ba.TiH7673from Noph; and there shall benoלֹ֣אlo'H3808moreע֑וֹדodH5750aprinceוְנָשִׂ֥יאve.na.Si'H5387outH6of thelandמֵאֶֽרֶץ־me.'e.retz-H776ofEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714: and I willputוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414afearיִרְאָ֖הyir.'AhH3374in thelandבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

14And I willmakeH5414Pathrosפַּתְר֔וֹסpat.RosH6624desolateוַהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙va.ha.shi.mo.TiH8074, and willsetH5414afireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784inZoanבְּצֹ֑עַןbe.Tzo.'anH6814, and willexecuteH5414judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֖יםshe.fa.TimH8201inNoH5414.

15And I willpourוְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣יve.sha.fakh.TiH8210myfuryחֲמָתִ֔יcha.ma.TiH2534uponעַל־'al-H5921Sin, thestrongמָע֣וֹזma.'ozH4581hold ofEgyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; and I willcutוְהִכְרַתִּ֖יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772offH3772themultitudeהֲמ֥וֹןha.MonH1995of No.

16And I willsetH5414afireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784inEgyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714; Sin shall be in greatanguishH2342, andNoH5414shall bebrokenלְהִבָּקֵ֑עַle.hi.ba.Ke.a'H1234upH5414: and Noph shall have adversaries in thedayיוֹמָֽם׃yo.MamH3119time.

17Theyoungבַּח֥וּרֵיba.Chu.reiH970menH970ofAvenH206and ofPi-besethH6364shallfallיִפֹּ֑לוּyi.Po.luH5307by theswordבַּחֶ֣רֶבba.Che.revH2719: andtheseוְהֵ֖נָּהve.He.nahH2007cities shallgoH5307intoH5307captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֥יba.she.ViH7628.

18AtTehaphnehesוּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙u.vit.chaf.ne.ChesH8471also thedayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117shall withdrawitselfהִ֚יאhi'H1931, when I shallbreakבְּשִׁבְרִי־be.shiv.ri-H7665there theyokesמֹט֣וֹתmo.TotH4133ofEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, and theprideגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347ofherH3680powerעֻזָּ֑הּ'u.ZahH5797shallceaseוְנִשְׁבַּת־ve.nish.bat-H7673inherH3680: as forherH3680, acloudעָנָ֣ן'a.NanH6051shallcoverיְכַסֶּ֔נָּהye.kha.Se.nahH3680herH3680, andherH3680daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323shall gointoH4714captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֥יba.she.ViH7628.

21Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120, I havebrokenשָׁבָ֑רְתִּיsha.Va.re.tiH7665thearmזְר֛וֹעַze.Ro.a'H2220ofPharaohפַּרְעֹ֥הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofEgyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714; and,loוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009, it hathnotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808beenboundחֻ֠בְּשָׁהChu.be.shahH2280upH5414to applyhealingרְפֻא֜וֹתre.fu.'otH7499medicines, toputH5414a roller tobindלְחָבְשָׁ֥הּle.cha.ve.ShahH2280it, that it bestrongלְחָזְקָ֖הּle.cha.ze.KahH2388toholdH2388theswordבֶּחָֽרֶב׃ סbe.Cha.revH2719.

22Thereforethusכֹּה־koh-H3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136:Beholdהִנְנִי֙hi.NiH2005, I amagainstH413Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֣הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofEgyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, and willbreakוְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ve.sha.var.TiH7665hisarmsזְרֹ֣עֹתָ֔יוze.Ro.'o.TavH2220, thestrongהַחֲזָקָ֖הha.cha.za.KahH2389, and thatwhichH2719wasbrokenהַנִּשְׁבָּ֑רֶתha.nish.Ba.retH7665; and I will cause theswordהַחֶ֖רֶבha.Che.revH2719tofallוְהִפַּלְתִּ֥יve.hi.pal.TiH5307outH413of hishandמִיָּדֽוֹ׃mi.ya.DoH3027.
