8It wasplantedשְׁתוּלָ֑הshe.tu.LahH8362in agoodטּ֛וֹבTovH2896soilשָׂ֥דֶהSa.dehH7704bymanyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227watersמַ֥יִםMa.yimH4325, that it mightbringH5375forthH5375branchesעָנָף֙'a.NafH6057, and that it mightbearוְלָשֵׂ֣אתve.la.SetH5375fruitפֶּ֔רִיPe.riH6529, that it might be a goodlyvineלְגֶ֥פֶןle.Ge.fenH1612.

15But herebelledוַיִּמְרָד־vai.yim.rod-H4775againstH4714him insendingלִשְׁלֹ֤חַlish.Lo.achH7971hisambassadorsמַלְאָכָיו֙mal.'a.KhavH4397intoH4714Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, that they mightgiveלָֽתֶת־la.tet-H5414himhorsesסוּסִ֖יםsu.SimH5483andmuchרָ֑בRavH7227peopleוְעַם־ve.'am-H5971. 16As Iliveחַי־chai-H2416, saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136,surelyH4191in theplaceבִּמְקוֹם֙bim.kOmH4725whereH834thekingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428dwelleth thatmadeH834himkingH4428,whoseH834oathאָ֣לָת֔וֹ'a.la.ToH423hedespisedבָּזָה֙ba.ZahH959, andwhoseH834covenantבְּרִית֑וֹbe.ri.ToH1285he brake,evenלֹ֗אLo'H3808with him in themidstבְתוֹךְ־ve.tokh-H8432ofBabylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894he shalldieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191.

18For he hathdespisedוּבָזָ֥הu.va.ZahH959theoathאָלָ֖ה'a.LahH423by breaking thecovenantבְּרִ֑יתbe.RitH1285; andbeholdוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009, he hadgivenנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414hishandיָד֛וֹya.DoH3027, and yet hathdoneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605theseאֵ֥לֶּה'E.lehH428things; he shallnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808escapeיִמָּלֵֽט׃ סyi.ma.LetH4422.

19Thereforethusכֹּה־koh-H3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136: As Iliveחַי־chai-H2416,surelyאִם־'im-H518mineoathאָֽלָתִי֙'a.la.TiH423that he hathdespisedבָּזָ֔הba.ZahH959, and mycovenantוּבְרִיתִ֖יu.ve.ri.TiH1285that he hath broken, I willevenלֹ֗אLo'H3808bringוּנְתַתִּ֖יוu.ne.ta.TivH5414it upon his ownheadבְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃be.ro.ShoH7218.

20And I willspreadוּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤יu.fa.ras.TiH6566mynetרִשְׁתִּ֔יrish.TiH7568uponH5921him, and he shall betakenוְנִתְפַּ֖שׂve.nit.PasH8610in my snare, and I willbringוַהֲבִיאוֹתִ֣יהוּva.ha.vi.'o.Ti.huH935him toBabylonבָבֶ֗לָהva.Ve.lahH894, and willpleadוְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֤יve.nish.pa.TiH8199with him there for histrespassמַעֲל֖וֹma.'a.LoH4604that he hath trespassedagainstH5921meH5921.
