51circumcisedG4061 the eighthG3637 dayG3637, of the 2nationG1085 of IsraelG2474, of the 3tribeG5443 of BenjaminG958, a 4HebrewG1445 of HebrewsG1445; as to the LawG3551, 5a PhariseeG5330; 6as to zealG2205, 6a persecutorG1377 of the churchG1577; as to the 7righteousnessG1343 which is in the LawG3551, foundG1096 8blamelessG273.

7But 9whateverG3748 thingsG3748 were gainG2771 to me, theseG3778 thingsG3778 I have countedG2233 as lossG2209 becauseG1223 of ChristG5547. 8MoreG3304 thanG3304 that, I countG2233 allG3956 thingsG3956 to be lossG2209 10inG1223 viewG1223 ofG1223 the surpassingG5242 valueG5242 of 1112knowingG1108 13ChristG5547 JesusG2424 my LordG2962, 14for whomG3739 I have sufferedG2210 the lossG2210 of allG3956 thingsG3956, and countG2233 them mere rubbishG4657, soG2443 thatG2443 I may gainG2770 ChristG5547, 9and may be foundG2147 in Him, not havingG2192 15a righteousnessG1343 of my ownG1699 derivedG1537 from the LawG3551, but that which is throughG1223 faithG4102 in ChristG5547, 16the righteousnessG1343 which comes from GodG2316 on the basisG1909 of faithG4102, 10that I may 17knowG1097 Him and 18the powerG1411 of His resurrectionG386 and 1920the fellowshipG2842 of His sufferingsG3804, being 21conformedG4832 to His deathG2288; 11ifG1487 somehowG4458 I may 22attainG2658 to the resurrectionG1815 from the deadG3498.

12Not that I have alreadyG2235 2324graspedG2983 it all orG2228 have alreadyG2235 25become perfectG5048, but I pressG1377 onG1377 ifG1487 I may alsoG2532 26takeG2638 holdG2638 ofG2638 that 27for whichG3739 I 28was evenG2532 takenG2638 holdG2638 ofG2638 by 29ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 13BrothersG80 and sisters, I do not regardG3049 myselfG1683 as having takenG2638 holdG2638 ofG2638 it yet; but oneG1520 thingG1520 I do: 30forgettingG1950 what lies behindG3694 and reachingG1901 forwardG1901 to what lies aheadG1715, 14I 31pressG1377 onG1377 towardG1519 the goalG4649 for the prizeG1017 of the 32upwardG507 callG2821 of GodG2316 in 33ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 15ThereforeG3767, allG3745 whoG3745 are 3435matureG5046, let’s haveG5426 thisG3778 attitudeG5426; and ifG1487 in anythingG5100 you haveG5426 a 36differentG2088 attitudeG5426, 37GodG2316 will revealG601 that to you asG2532 wellG2532; 16howeverG4133, let’s keep 3839livingG4748 by that sameG846 standard to whichG3739 we have attainedG5348.

17BrothersG80 and sisters, 40joinG4831G1096 inG4831 followingG4831 my exampleG4831, and observeG4648 thoseG3588 who walkG4043 accordingG2531 to the 41patternG5179 you haveG2192 in us. 18For 42manyG4183 walkG4043, of whomG3739 I oftenG4178 toldG3004 you, and nowG3568 tellG3004 you evenG2532 as I 43weepG2799, that they are the enemiesG2190 of 44the crossG4716 of ChristG5547, 19whoseG3739 endG5056 is destructionG684, whoseG3739 godG2316 is their 4546appetiteG2836, and whose 47gloryG1391 is in their shameG152, who 48haveG5426 their mindsG5426 onG5426 earthlyG1919 thingsG1919. 20For 49our 50citizenshipG4175 is in heavenG3772, from whichG3739 we alsoG2532 eagerlyG553 51waitG553 for a SaviorG4990, the LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547; 21whoG3739 will 52transformG3345 the bodyG4983 of our lowlyG5014 conditionG5014 into 53conformityG4832 with 54His 55gloriousG1391 bodyG4983, 56by the exertionG1753 of the powerG1410 that He hasG1410 evenG2532 to 57subjectG5293 allG3956 thingsG3956 to HimselfG846.
