1ChildrenG5043, obeyG5219 your parentsG1118 in the LordG2962, for thisG3778 is rightG1342. 2 2HonorG5091 your fatherG3962 and motherG3384 (whichG3748 is the firstG4413 commandmentG1785 with a promiseG1860), 3soG2443 thatG2443 it may turnG1096 outG1096 wellG2095 for you, and that you may liveG1510 G3118 longG3118 on the earthG1093.

3FathersG3962, do not provokeG3949 your childrenG5043 toG3949 angerG3949, but 4bringG1625 them upG1625 in the disciplineG3809 and instructionG3559 of the LordG2962.

5SlavesG1401, be obedientG5219 to thoseG3588 who are your 6mastersG2962 accordingG2596 to the fleshG4561, with 7fearG5401 and tremblingG5156, in the sincerityG572 of your heartG2588, 8as to ChristG5547; 6 9not 10by wayG2596 of 11eye-serviceG3787, as 12people-pleasersG441, but as 13slavesG1401 of ChristG5547, 14doingG4160 the willG2307 of GodG2316 from the 15heartG5590. 7With goodwillG2133 16renderG1398 serviceG1398, 17as to the LordG2962, and not to peopleG444, 8 18knowingG3609 that 19whateverG1437 G5100 goodG18 thingG18 eachG1538 oneG1538 doesG4160, he will receiveG2865 thisG3778 backG2865 from the LordG2962, 20whetherG1535 slaveG1401 orG1535 freeG1658.

And mastersG2962, doG4160 the sameG846 thingsG846 to them, and 21giveG447 upG447 threateningG547, knowingG3609 that 22bothG2532 their MasterG2962 and yoursG4771 is in heavenG3772, and there is 23noG3756 partialityG4382 with Him.

FinallyG3062, 24beG1743 strongG1743 in the LordG2962 and in 25the strengthG2904 of His mightG2479. 11 26PutG1746 on the fullG3833 armorG3833 of GodG2316, soG4314 thatG4314 you will be ableG1410 to standG2476 firmG2476 againstG4314 the 27schemesG3180 of the devilG1228. 12For our 28struggleG3823 is not againstG4314 29 30fleshG4561 and bloodG129, but 31againstG4314 the rulersG746, againstG4314 the powersG1849, againstG4314 the 32worldG2888 forcesG2888 of thisG3778 33darknessG4655, againstG4314 the 34spiritualG4152 forces of wickednessG4189 in 35the heavenlyG2032 places. 13ThereforeG1223 G3778, takeG353 upG353 36the fullG3833 armorG3833 of GodG2316, soG2443 thatG2443 you will be ableG1410 to 37resistG436 on 38the evilG4190 dayG2250, and having doneG2716 everythingG537, to standG2476 firmG2476.
