38“You will bringH3318outH3318a greatH7227amountH7227of seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233to the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֑הha.sa.DehH7704,but you will gatherתֶּאֱסֹ֔ףte.'e.SofH622inH622littleוּמְעַ֣טu.me.'AtH4592,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588the locustהָאַרְבֶּֽה׃ha.'ar.BehH697will devourיַחְסְלֶ֖נּוּyach.se.Le.nuH2628it.

39You will plantתִּטַּ֖עti.Ta'H5193and cultivateוְעָבָ֑דְתָּve.'a.Va.de.taH5647vineyardsכְּרָמִ֥יםke.ra.MimH3754,but you will neitherלֹֽא־lo'-H3808drinkתִשְׁתֶּה֙tish.TehH8354of the wineוְיַ֤יִןve.Ya.yinH3196norוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808bringH103inH103the harvest,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588the wormH8439will eatתֹאכְלֶ֖נּוּto.khe.Le.nuH398it.

40You will haveיִהְי֥וּyih.YuH1961oliveזֵיתִ֛יםzei.TimH2132treesH2132throughoutבְּכָל־be.kholH3605your territoryגְּבוּלֶ֑ךָge.vu.Le.khaH1366but you will not anointתָס֔וּךְta.SukhH5480yourself with the oilוְשֶׁ֙מֶן֙ve.She.menH8081,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588your olivesזֵיתֶֽךָ׃zei.Te.khaH2132will dropH5394offH5394prematurely.

41You will fatherתּוֹלִ֑ידto.LidH3205sonsבָּנִ֥יםba.NimH1121and daughtersוּבָנ֖וֹתu.va.NotH1323but they will not remainיִהְי֣וּyih.YuH1961yours, becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588they will goיֵלְכ֖וּye.le.KhuH1980into captivityבַּשֶּֽׁבִי׃ba.She.viH7628.

42The cricketהַצְּלָצַֽל׃ha.tze.la.TzalH6767will takeיְיָרֵ֖שׁye.ya.ReshH3423possessionH3423of allכָּל־kol-H3605your treesעֵצְךָ֖'e.tze.KhaH6086and the produceוּפְרִ֣יu.fe.RiH6529of your groundאַדְמָתֶ֑ךָ'ad.ma.Te.khaH127.

43The strangerהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is amongבְּקִרְבְּךָ֔be.kir.be.ChaH7130you will riseיַעֲלֶ֥הya.'a.LehH5927aboveעָלֶ֖יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921you higherמַ֣עְלָהMa'.lahH4605and higherמָּ֑עְלָהMa.'e.lahH4605,and you will goתֵרֵ֖דte.RedH3381downH3381lowerמַ֥טָּהMa.tahH4295and lowerמָּֽטָּה׃Ma.tahH4295.

44He will lendיַלְוְךָ֔yal.ve.KhaH3867to you, but you will not lendתַלְוֶ֑נּוּtal.Ve.nuH3867to him;he will be the headלְרֹ֔אשׁle.RoshH7218,and you will be the tailלְזָנָֽב׃le.za.NavH2180.

45“So allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵ֗לֶּהha.'E.lehH428cursesהַקְּלָל֣וֹתha.ke.la.LotH7045shall comeוּבָ֨אוּu.Va.'uH935upon you and pursueוּרְדָפ֙וּךָ֙u.re.da.Fu.khaH7291you and overtakeוְהִשִּׂיג֔וּךָve.hi.si.Gu.khaH5381youuntilעַ֖ד'adH5704you are destroyedהִשָּֽׁמְדָ֑ךְhi.sha.me.DakhH8045,becauseכִּי־ki-H3588you would notobeyשָׁמַ֗עְתָּ בְּקוֹל֙sha.Ma'.ta be.kOlH8085 H6963the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430by keepingלִשְׁמֹ֛רlish.MorH8104His commandmentsמִצְוֹתָ֥יוmitz.vo.TavH4687and His statutesוְחֻקֹּתָ֖יוve.chu.ko.TavH2708whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He commandedצִוָּֽךְ׃tzi.VakhH6680you.

46And they will becomeוְהָי֣וּve.ha.YuH1961a signלְא֖וֹתle.'otH226and a wonderוּלְמוֹפֵ֑תu.le.mo.FetH4159against you and yourdescendantsוּֽבְזַרְעֲךָ֖u.ve.zar.'a.KhaH2233foreverעַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃'ad- o.LamH5704 H5769.
