38“You shall bringתּוֹצִ֣יאto.Tzi'H3318out muchרַ֖בravH7227seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233to the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֑הha.sa.DehH7704but you will gatherתֶּאֱסֹ֔ףte.'e.SofH622in littleוּמְעַ֣טu.me.'AtH4592, forthe locustהָאַרְבֶּֽה׃ha.'ar.BehH697will consumeיַחְסְלֶ֖נּוּyach.se.Le.nuH2628it.

39You shall plantתִּטַּ֖עti.Ta'H5193and cultivateוְעָבָ֑דְתָּve.'a.Va.de.taH5647vineyardsכְּרָמִ֥יםke.ra.MimH3754,but you will neitherלֹֽא־lo'-H3808drinkתִשְׁתֶּה֙tish.TehH8354of the wineוְיַ֤יִןve.Ya.yinH3196norוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808gatherתֶאֱגֹ֔רte.'e.GorH103the grapes,for the wormH8439will devourתֹאכְלֶ֖נּוּto.khe.Le.nuH398them.

40You shall haveיִהְי֥וּyih.YuH1961oliveזֵיתִ֛יםzei.TimH2132treesH2132throughoutבְּכָל־be.kholH3605your territoryגְּבוּלֶ֑ךָge.vu.Le.khaH1366but you will not anointתָס֔וּךְta.SukhH5480yourself with the oilוְשֶׁ֙מֶן֙ve.She.menH8081,for your olivesזֵיתֶֽךָ׃zei.Te.khaH2132will dropH5394offH5394.

41You shallhaveתּוֹלִ֑ידto.LidH3205sonsבָּנִ֥יםba.NimH1121and daughtersוּבָנ֖וֹתu.va.NotH1323but they will not be yours, for they will goיֵלְכ֖וּye.le.KhuH1980into captivityבַּשֶּֽׁבִי׃ba.She.viH7628.

42The cricketהַצְּלָצַֽל׃ha.tze.la.TzalH6767shall possessיְיָרֵ֖שׁye.ya.ReshH3423allכָּל־kol-H3605your treesעֵצְךָ֖'e.tze.KhaH6086and the produceוּפְרִ֣יu.fe.RiH6529of your groundאַדְמָתֶ֑ךָ'ad.ma.Te.khaH127.

43The alienהַגֵּר֙ha.GerH1616whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is amongבְּקִרְבְּךָ֔be.kir.be.ChaH7130you shall riseיַעֲלֶ֥הya.'a.LehH5927aboveעָלֶ֖יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921you higherמַ֣עְלָהMa'.lahH4605and higherמָּ֑עְלָהMa.'e.lahH4605,but you will goתֵרֵ֖דte.RedH3381downH3381lowerמַ֥טָּהMa.tahH4295and lowerמָּֽטָּה׃Ma.tahH4295.

44He shall lendיַלְוְךָ֔yal.ve.KhaH3867to you, but you will not lendתַלְוֶ֑נּוּtal.Ve.nuH3867to him;he shall be the headלְרֹ֔אשׁle.RoshH7218,and you will be the tailלְזָנָֽב׃le.za.NavH2180.
