5For we have foundεὑρόντεςheurontesG2147thisτοῦτονtoutonG3778manἄνδραandraG435a publicG3061menaceG3061and one who stirsG2795upG2795dissensionsστάσειςstaseisG4714among allπᾶσινpasinG3956the JewsἸουδαίοιςIoudaioisG2453throughoutκατὰkataG2596the worldοἰκουμένηνoikoumenēnG3625,and a ringleaderπρωτοστάτηνprōtostatēnG4414of thesectαἱρέσεως·haireseōsG139of the NazarenesΝαζωραίωνNazōraiōnG3480.

6And he evenκαὶkaiG2532triedἐπείρασενepeirasenG3985todesecrateβεβηλῶσαι,bebēlōsaiG953the templeG2413,so indeedκαὶkaiG2532we arrestedἐκρατήσαμενekratēsamenG2902him.

8By interrogatingἀνακρίναςanakrinasG350him yourselfG846concerningπερὶperiG4012allπάντωνpantōnG3956theseτούτωνtoutōnG3778matters, you will be ableδυνήσῃdunēsēG1410to ascertainἐπιγνῶναιepignōnaiG1921the things of whichG3739we are accusingκατηγοροῦμενkatēgoroumenG2723him.”

9The JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453alsoκαὶkaiG2532joinedG4902inG4902the attackG4902,assertingφάσκοντεςphaskontesG5335that theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778were soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779.

10And whenthe governorἡγεμόνοςhēgemonosG2232had noddedνεύσαντοςneusantosG3506for him to speakλέγειν·legeinG3004,PaulΠαῦλος,PaulosG3972respondedἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611: “KnowingἐπιστάμενοςepistamenosG1987that for manyπολλῶνpollōnG4183yearsἐτῶνetōnG2094you have beenὄνταontaG1510a judgeκριτὴνkritēnG2923to thisτούτῳtoutōG3778nationἔθνειethneiG1484,I cheerfullyεὐθύμωςeuthumōsG2115makeG626my defenseἀπολογοῦμαι·apologoumaiG626,

12And neitherοὔτεouteG3777in the templeG2413did they findεὗρόνheuronG2147me carryingG1256onG1256aG1256discussionG1256with anyoneτιναtinaG5100orἢēG2228causingποιοῦνταpoiountaG4160a riotὄχλουochlouG3793 G1988,norοὔτεouteG3777in the synagoguesσυναγωγαῖςsunagōgaisG4864,norοὔτεouteG3777in the cityπόλιν·polinG4172itself.

13NorοὐδὲoudeG3761canδύνανταίdunantaiG1410they proveπαραστῆσαιparastēsaiG3936to you the thingsof whichὧνhōnG3739they nowνυνὶnuniG3570accuseκατηγοροῦσίνkatēgorousinG2723me.
