3And evenκαὶkaiG2532ifεἰeiG1487ourgospelεὐαγγέλιονeuangelionG2098isveiledκεκαλυμμένονkekalummenonG2572,it is veiledκεκαλυμμένον·kekalummenonG2572tothoseG3588who are perishingἀπολλυμένοιςapollumenoisG622,

5For wedo not preachκηρύσσομενkērussomenG2784ourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438,but ChristΧριστὸνChristonG5547JesusἸησοῦνIēsounG2424as Lordκύριον,kurionG2962,and ourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438as your bond-servantsδούλουςdoulousG1401on accountδιὰdiaG1223of JesusἸησοῦν.IēsounG2424.

6For GodθεὸςtheosG2316,who saidG3004, “LightφῶςphōsG5457shall shineλάμψει,lampseiG2989out of darknessσκότουςskotousG4655,”is the One whoὃςhosG3739hasshoneἔλαμψενelampsenG2989in our heartsκαρδίαιςkardiaisG2588to give theLightφωτισμὸνphōtismonG5462of the knowledgeγνώσεωςgnōseōsG1108of the gloryδόξηςdoxēsG1391of GodθεοῦtheouG2316in the faceπροσώπῳprosōpōG4383of ChristΧριστοῦ.¶ChristouG5547.

7But we haveἜχομενEchomenG2192thisτοῦτονtoutonG3778treasureθησαυρὸνthēsauronG2344inearthenὀστρακίνοιςostrakinoisG3749containersσκεύεσιν,skeuesinG4632,soG2443thatG2443the extraordinaryὑπερβολὴhuperbolēG5236greatness ofthe powerδυνάμεωςdunameōsG1411will be of GodθεοῦtheouG2316and not from ourselvesG1473;
