11Nowוְעַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH6258then, listenשְׁמָע֔וּנִיshe.ma.'U.niH8085to me and returnוְהָשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ve.ha.Shi.vuH7725the captivesהַשִּׁבְיָ֔הha.shiv.YahH7633whomאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you capturedשְׁבִיתֶ֖םshe.vi.TemH7617from your brothersמֵאֲחֵיכֶ֑םme.'a.chei.KhemH251,for the burningחֲר֥וֹןcha.RonH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068is againstעֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ ס'a.lei.KhemH5921you.”

19For the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068had humbledהִכְנִ֤יעַhikh.Ni.a'H3665Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063becauseבַּעֲב֖וּרba.'a.VurH5668of Ahazאָחָ֣ז'a.ChazH271kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,for he had broughtH6544aboutH6544a lackH6544ofH6544restraintH6544in Judahבִּֽיהוּדָ֔הbi.hu.DahH3063and was veryH4604unfaithfulH4604to the Lordבַּיהוָֽה׃ba.Yah.wehH3068.

21Althoughכִּֽי־ki-H3588Ahazאָחָז֙'a.ChazH271tookH2505aH2505portionH2505outH2505of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068and out of the palaceבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428and of the princesוְהַשָּׂרִ֑יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269,and gaveוַיִּתֵּן֙vai.yi.TenH5414itto the kingלְמֶ֣לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804,it did not helpלְעֶזְרָ֖הle.'ez.RahH5833him.

22Now during the timeוּבְעֵת֙u.ve.'EtH6256of his distressהָצֵ֣רha.TzerH6887,thisH1931sameH1931Kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Ahazאָחָֽז׃'a.ChazH271becameH4603evenH3254moreH3254unfaithfulH4603to the Lordבַּיהוָ֑הba.Yah.wehH3068.
