Psalms 18:1-19

1 1“I loveH7355 You, O LordH3068, 2my strengthH2391.”2The LordH3068 is 3my 4rockH5553 and 5my fortressH4686 and my 6delivererH6403, My GodH410, my rockH6697, in whom I takeH2620 refugeH2620; My 7shieldH4043 and the 8hornH7161 of my salvationH3468, my 9strongholdH4869.3I callH7121 upon the LordH3068, who is 10worthy to be praisedH1984, And I am 11savedH3467 from my enemiesH340.

4The 12cordsH2256 of deathH4194 encompassedH661 me, And the 13torrentsH5158 of 14ungodlinessH1100 15terrifiedH1204 me.5The 16cordsH2256 of 17SheolH7585 surroundedH5437 me; The snaresH4170 of deathH4194 confrontedH6923 me.6In my 18distressH6862 I calledH7121 upon the LordH3068, And criedH7768 to my GodH430 for helpH7768; He heardH8085 my voiceH6963 19out of His templeH1964, And my 20cryH7775 for helpH7775 beforeH6440 Him cameH935 into His earsH241.

7Then the 21earthH776 shookH1607 and quakedH7493; And the 22foundationsH4144 of the mountainsH2022 were tremblingH7264 And were shakenH1607, becauseH3588 He was angryH2734.8SmokeH6227 wentH5927 up 23out of His nostrilsH639, And 24fireH784 from His mouthH6310 devouredH398; CoalsH1513 were kindledH1197 by it.9He 25bowedH5186 the heavensH8064 also, and cameH3381 downH3381 With thickH6205 26darknessH6205 underH8478 His feetH7272.10He rodeH7392 upon a 27cherubH3742 and flewH5774; And He spedH1675 upon the 28wingsH3671 of the windH7307.11He madeH7896 29darknessH2822 His hidingH5643 placeH5643, 30His 31canopyH5521 aroundH5439 Him, DarknessH2825 of watersH4325, thickH5645 cloudsH5645 of the skiesH7834.12From the 32brightnessH5051 beforeH5048 Him passedH5674 His thickH5645 cloudsH5645, HailstonesH1259 and 33coalsH1513 of fireH784.13The LordH3068 also 34thunderedH7481 in the heavensH8064, And the MostH5945 HighH5945 utteredH5414 His voiceH6963, HailstonesH1259 and coalsH1513 of fireH784.14He 35sentH7971 out His arrowsH2671, and scatteredH6327 them, And lightningH1300 flashesH1300 in abundanceH7227, and 36routedH2000 them.15Then the 37channelsH650 of waterH4325 appearedH7200, And the foundationsH4144 of the worldH8398 were 38laidH1540 bareH1540 At Your 39rebukeH1606, O LordH3068, At the blastH5397 of the 40breathH7307 of Your nostrilsH639.

16He 41sentH7971 from on highH4791, He tookH3947 me; He drewH4871 me out of 42manyH7227 watersH4325.17He 43deliveredH5337 me from my strongH5794 enemyH340, And from those who hatedH8130 me, for they were 44tooH4480 mightyH553 for me.18They confrontedH6923 me in 45the dayH3117 of my calamityH343, But 46the LordH3068 was my stayH4937.19He broughtH3318 me forthH3318 also into a 47broadH4800 placeH4800; He rescuedH2502 me, becauseH3588 48He delightedH2654 in me.
