1 Peter 4:12-17
121BelovedG27, do not be surprisedG3579 at the 2fieryG4451 ordealG4451 amongG1722 you, which comesG1096 upon you for your testingG3986, as thoughG5613 some strangeG3581 thingG3581 were happeningG4819 to you;
13but to the degreeG2526 that you 3shareG2841 the sufferingsG3804 of ChristG5547, keep on rejoicingG5463, soG2443 that alsoG2532 at the 4revelationG602 of His gloryG1391 5you may rejoiceG5463 with exultationG21.
14IfG1487 you are reviledG3679 67for the nameG3686 of ChristG5547, 8you are blessedG3107, 9becauseG3754 the SpiritG4151 of gloryG1391 and of GodG2316 restsG373 on you.
15MakeG3361 sure that 10noneG5100G3361 of you suffersG3958 as a murdererG5406, orG2228 thiefG2812, orG2228 evildoerG2555, orG2228 a 1112troublesomeG244 meddlerG244;
16but ifG1487 anyone suffers as a 13ChristianG5546, he is not to be ashamedG153, but is to 14glorifyG1392 GodG2316 in thisG3778 nameG3686.
17For it is timeG2540 for judgmentG2917 15to beginG757 16with 17the householdG3624 of GodG2316; and ifG1487 it 18begins with us firstG4413, whatG5101 will be the outcomeG5056 for thoseG3588 19who doG544 not obeyG544 the 20gospelG2098 of GodG2316?
