23JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidΛέγειLegeiG3004to her,“Your brotherἀδελφόςadelphosG80will riseἀναστήσεταιanastēsetaiG450againG450.”

24MarthaΜάρθα·MarthaG3136saidλέγειlegeiG3004to Him, “I knowG3609that he will riseἀναστήσεταιanastēsetaiG450againG450in the resurrectionἀναστάσειanastaseiG386on the lastἐσχάτῃeschatēG2078dayἡμέρᾳ.¶hēmeraG2250.”

25JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidG3004to her, “I amεἰμιeimiG1510the resurrectionἀνάστασιςanastasisG386and the lifeζωή·zōēG2222;he who believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100in Me will liveζήσεται,zēsetaiG2198evenG2579ifG2579he diesἀποθάνῃapothanēG599,

26and everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who livesζῶνzōnG2198and believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100in Mewill neverοὐ μὴou mēG3756 G3361dieἀποθάνῃapothanēG599.Do you believeπιστεύειςpisteueisG4100thisτοῦτο;toutoG3778?”

27She saidλέγειlegeiG3004to Him, “YesναὶnaiG3483,Lordκύριε·kurieG2962;I have believedπεπίστευκαpepisteukaG4100that You arethe ChristχριστὸςchristosG5547,the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of GodθεοῦtheouG2316, evenHe who comesἐρχόμενος.¶erchomenosG2064into the worldκόσμονkosmonG2889.”

28When she had saidG3004thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778, shewentG565awayἀπῆλθενapēlthenG565and calledἐφώνησενephōnēsenG5455MaryΜαριὰμMariamG3137her sisterἀδελφὴνadelphēnG79,sayingG3004secretlyλάθρᾳlathraG2977, “The TeacherδιδάσκαλοςdidaskalosG1320is hereπάρεστινparestinG3918and is callingφωνεῖphōneiG5455for you.”

29And whenὡςhōsG5613she heardἤκουσενēkousenG191it, she gotἠγέρθηēgerthēG1453up quicklyταχὺtachuG5035and was comingἤρχετοērchetoG2064to Him.

30NowδὲdeG1161JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424had not yetοὔπωoupōG3768comeἐληλύθειelēlutheiG2064into the villageκώμην,kōmēnG2968, butwas stillἔτιetiG2089in the placeτόπῳtopōG5117whereὅπουhopouG3699MarthaΜάρθα.¶MarthaG3136metὑπήντησενhupēntēsenG5221Him.

31ThenοὖνounG3767the JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453who were with her in the houseοἰκίᾳoikiaG3614, andconsolingπαραμυθούμενοιparamuthoumenoiG3888her, when they sawG3708that MaryΜαριὰμMariamG3137gotἀνέστηanestēG450up quicklyταχέωςtacheōsG5030and wentἐξῆλθεν,exēlthenG1831out, they followedἠκολούθησανēkolouthēsanG190her, supposingδόξαντεςdoxantesG1380that she was goingὑπάγειhupageiG5217to the tombμνημεῖονmnēmeionG3419to weepκλαύσῃklausēG2799thereἐκεῖ.ekeiG1563.

33WhenὡςhōsG5613JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424thereforeοὖνounG3767sawG3708her weepingκλαίουσανklaiousanG2799, andthe JewsἸουδαίουςIoudaiousG2453who cameσυνελθόνταςsunelthontasG4905with her alsoweepingκλαίοντας,klaiontasG2799, Hewas deeplyG1690movedG1690in spiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151andwas troubledἐτάραξενetaraxenG5015,
