4NowδὲdeG1161whileὡςhōsG5613they were passingG1279throughG1279the citiesπόλεις,poleisG4172,they were deliveringπαρεδίδοσανparedidosanG3860the decreesδόγματαdogmataG1378which had been decidedκεκριμέναkekrimenaG2919upon bythe apostlesἀποστόλωνapostolōnG652andeldersπρεσβυτέρωνpresbuterōnG4245whoG3588were in JerusalemἹεροσολύμοις.¶Hi'erosolumoisG2414,for them to observeφυλάσσεινphulasseinG5442.

9A visionὅραμαhoramaG3705appearedG3708to PaulΠαύλῳPaulōG3972in the nightνυκτὸςnuktosG3571:a manἀνὴρanērG435ofMacedoniaΜακεδώνMakedōnG3110was standingἑστὼςhestōsG2476and appealingπαρακαλῶνparakalōnG3870to him, and sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “ComeG1224overG1224to MacedoniaΜακεδονίανMakedonianG3109and helpβοήθησονboēthēsonG997us.”

10WhenὡςhōsG5613he had seenG3708the visionὅραμαhoramaG3705,immediatelyεὐθέωςeutheōsG2112we soughtἐζητήσαμενezētēsamenG2212togoἐξελθεῖνexeltheinG1831into MacedoniaΜακεδονίανMakedonianG3109,concludingσυμβιβάζοντεςsumbibazontesG4822that GodθεὸςtheosG2316had calledπροσκέκληταιproskeklētaiG4341us topreachG2097the gospelG2097to them.
