Judges 12:4-6
4And JephthahH3316 gatheredH6908 togetherH6908 all the menH376 of GileadH1568, and foughtH3898 with EphraimH669; and the menH376 of GileadH1568 smote EphraimH669, because they saidH559, Ye, GileadH1568, ye are fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669 in the midstH8432 of EphraimH669, [and] in the midstH8432 of ManassehH4519.
5And GileadH1568 tookH3920 the fords of the JordanH3383 before EphraimH669; and it came to passH5674 that when the fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669 saidH559, Let me go over, the menH376 of GileadH1568 saidH559 to him, Art thou an Ephraimite? and he saidH559, No.
6Then they saidH559 to him, SayH559 now Shibboleth! and he saidH559, Sibboleth, and did not manage to pronounce [it] rightly. Then they took him, and slaughteredH7819 him at the fords of the JordanH3383. And there fellH5307 at that timeH6256 of EphraimH669 forty-two thousandH505.
