Judges 12:4-6
4Then JephthahH3316 gatheredH6908 togetherH6908 all the menH376 of GileadH1568, and foughtH3898 with EphraimH669; and the menH376 of GileadH1568 smote EphraimH669, because they saidH559, Ye are fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669, ye Gileadites, in the midstH8432 of EphraimH669, and in the midstH8432 of ManassehH4519. 5And the Gileadites tookH3920 the fords of the JordanH3383 against the Ephraimites. And it wasH1961 so, that, when any of the fugitivesH6412 of EphraimH669 saidH559, Let me go over, the menH376 of GileadH1568 saidH559 unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he saidH559, Nay; 6then saidH559 they unto him, SayH559 now Shibboleth; and he saidH559 Sibboleth; for he could not frame to pronounce it right: then they laid holdH270 on him, and slew him at the fords of the JordanH3383. And there fellH5307 at that timeH6256 of EphraimH669 fortyH705 and twoH8147 thousandH505.
