Hosea 3
Darby Bible
1And Jehovah saidH559 unto me, Go againH5750, loveH157 a womanH802 beloved of a friendH7453, and an adulteress, according to the loveH157 of Jehovah for the children of IsraelH3478, though they turnH6437 to otherH312 1godsH430, and loveH157 raisin-cakes. 2So I bought her to me for fifteen silverH3701 [pieces], and for a homer of barleyH8184, and a half-homer of barleyH8184. 3And I saidH559 unto her, Thou shalt abide for me manyH7227 daysH3117; thou shalt not playH2181 the harlot, and thou shalt not beH1961 [another] man's, and I will alsoH1571 beH1961 for thee. 4For the children of IsraelH3478 shall abide manyH7227 daysH3117 without kingH4428, and without princeH8269, and without sacrificeH2077, and without statue, and without ephodH646 and teraphimH8655. 5Afterwards shall the children of IsraelH3478 returnH7725, and seekH1245 Jehovah their 2GodH430, and DavidH1732 their kingH4428; and shall turnH7725 with fearH6342 toward Jehovah and toward his goodnessH2898, at the endH319 of the daysH3117.
