Hosea 3
American Standard Version
1And Jehovah saidH559 unto me, Go againH5750, loveH157 a womanH802 beloved of her friendH7453, and an adulteress, even as Jehovah loveth the children of IsraelH3478, though they turnH6437 unto otherH312 godsH430, and loveH157 cakes of raisins.
2So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silverH3701, and a homer of barleyH8184, and a half-homer of barleyH8184;
3and I saidH559 unto her, Thou shalt abide for me manyH7227 daysH3117; thou shalt not playH2181 the harlot, and thou shalt not beH1961 any man’sH376 wife: so will I alsoH1571 beH1961 toward thee.
4For the children of IsraelH3478 shall abide manyH7227 daysH3117 without kingH4428, and without princeH8269, and without sacrificeH2077, and without pillarH4676, and without ephodH646 or teraphimH8655:
5afterward shall the children of IsraelH3478 returnH7725, and seekH1245 Jehovah their GodH430, and DavidH1732 their kingH4428, and shall come with fearH6342 unto Jehovah and to his goodnessH2898 in the latterH319 daysH3117.
