35WomenG1135 receivedG2983 their deadG3498 again by resurrectionG386; and othersG243 were tortured, not having acceptedG4327 deliverance, that they might get a better resurrectionG386; 36and othersG2087 underwent trial of mockings and scourgings, yea, and of bonds and imprisonment. 37They were stonedG3034, were sawn asunder, were temptedG3985, diedG599 by the death of the swordG3162; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, destitute, afflicted, evil treated, 38(of whom the worldG2889 wasG1510 not worthyG514,) wandering in deserts and mountainsG3735, and [in] dens and caverns of the earthG1093. 39And these all, having obtained witnessG3140 through faithG4102, did not receiveG2865 the promiseG1860, 401GodG2316 having foreseen some better thing for us, that they should not be madeG5048 perfectG5048 without us.
