Darby Bible
2 Timothy 3:1-9
1But this knowG1097, that in [the] lastG2078 daysG2250 difficult timesG2540 shall be there;
2for menG444 shall beG1510 loversG5366 of self, loversG5366 of moneyG5366, boastfulG213, arrogant, evil speakers, disobedientG545 to parentsG1118, ungratefulG884, profane,
3without natural affection, implacable, slanderersG1228, of unsubdued passions, savage, having no love for what is good,
4traitors, headlong, of vain pretensions, lovers of pleasure ratherG3123 than lovers of 1God;
5having a form of piety but denyingG720 the powerG1411 of it: and from these turn away.
6For of these areG1510 they who areG1510 getting into housesG3614, and leading captiveG163 silly women, laden with sinsG266, ledG71 by variousG4164 lustsG1939,
7alwaysG3842 learningG3129, and never ableG1410 to comeG2064 to [the] knowledgeG1922 of [the] truthG225.
8NowG1161 in the sameG3779 mannerG3779 in which Jannes and Jambres withstood MosesG3475, thusG3779 these alsoG2532 withstand the truthG225; menG444 corrupted in mindG3563, found worthless as regards the faithG4102.
9But they shall not advance farther; for their folly shall beG1510 completely manifest to all, as that of those alsoG2532 becameG1096.
